Aestepool doctors transplant follicles on the hairless areas of the scalp and face (mustache, eyebrows, beard). A patient can get a free preliminary consultation after sending the photo.

Specialists obtain grafts (donor follicles) with a thin punch of 0.7 mm in diameter and implant them with Pen CHOI — an instrument with a needle of 1 mm in diameter. Using these appliances, doctors conduct minimally-invasive hair transplant without any cuts and stitches. A patient does not feel pain after the surgery.

Using the MicroFUE technique, a doctor does not need to waste time and dip the grafts into the nutrient fluid. Follicles are transplanted immediately after extraction from the donor area.

I recently had a hair transplant performed at Aestepool. I did a lot of research and was very apprehensive about it in general. From the moment their team reached out I felt comfortable and supported. Dr. Ahmed Altan was very professional and very involved. He and his team explained exactly what I could expect and were very thorough with pre and post care guidance. He did fantastic work and although it’s only been a little over a week I’m very happy with how the healing is going. His team continues to follow up and answer all my questions. Main criteria in choosing a clinic was having a doctor present and invovled in the actual procedures and an unblemished track record. Having spent some time researching, I narrowed down to 3 clinics and Aestoepool was the fastest to respond within 2 hours on a weekend. I flew in on Friday evening and was checked into a decent hotel not more than 10 minutes from the clinic. The whole process on Saturday was very fluid with no pain once the local anaesthetia was administered and the afternoon sessions flew by. Following a quick wash on Sunday I was back on the plane home by 2pm. The doctor had a very serious no-nonsense demeanour throughout the procedure while at the same being able to be very re-assuring and maintained adequte contact to check in even when he was not present. The rest of the nurses also appeared to be highly experienced competent in the extracting and implanting procedures. Overall, it was an extremely efficient and felt almost routine experience. The oustanding feature would have to be the ease of communication - the agent assigned to me (Dominika) was very clear and comprehensive in the advice and the communcation channels with her as well as the rest of the clinic were completely open through my visit and in the post-care phase. Would definitely recommend.

When I decided to have a second hair transplant, I invested many hours in research to find a doctor who not only achieved many very good results, but above all achieves few to no bad results. After comparing the results of more than 30 doctors and having consultations with a handful of clinics, I had the best feeling about Dr Achmed Altan at the Aestepool Clinic - and I am convinced that I have indeed made the best decision with him as a professional, ethical and above all competent doctor. The consultation with his assistant Elba went smoothly. She is available around the clock, very endeavoured and was able to explain the processes to me in an easily understandable way and answer all my questions without any problems. The clinic is very modern, clean and you feel that you are in good hands. Dr Altan and Elba prepare you well for the operation and always make sure that you feel comfortable. Without going into too much detail about the operation, everything went smoothly and without complications and I was able to leave the clinic after about 6 hours. The washing and briefing the next day prepare you very well for the healing phase to come. After the operation, I had significantly less swelling and redness than after my first operation 3 years ago. As of today, the operation was about 3 months ago and I can now see steady progress and am already looking forward to the final result (which I expect to turn out very very god) Overall, I can highly recommend Dr Altan and Aestepool for a hair transplant and would go there again for another operation anytime.

Completed my procedure 2 months ago; traveled to Istanbul for 2 days for it. The experience was smooth overall: the logistics were taken care of, and the procedure day was easier than expected including no pain after anesthesia. Dr. Altan was present and participative throughout the phases (not like hair mills). Now I’m in the shedding phase and awaiting the results in the coming few months.
