Dr. B L Kapur, an eminent Obstetrician and Gynecologist, set up a Charitable Hospital in 1930 at Lahore. In 1947, he moved to post-partition India and set up a Maternity Hospital at Ludhiana. In 1956 on the invitation of the then Prime Minister, Dr. B L Kapur initiated the project for setting up a 200 bed hospital in Delhi. The hospital was inaugurated by the Prime Minister, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru on 2nd January, 1959.
By 1984, when the hospital celebrated its Silver Jubilee, it was an expanding hospital well on its way to becoming Delhi's premier multispecialty institute. Services offered included General Surgery, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dentistry, Pulmonology, Intensive Care and Orthopedics, apart from mother & child care.

Today, I visited BLK-Max Hospital for my Annual Preventive Health Check-up, and I must say the entire experience was outstanding. The hospital staff was extremely professional, kind, and supportive throughout the process. A special mention to Ms. Arshi, Mr. Gulshan, Ms. Amrita, Ms. Anuradha, Ms. Shalini, and Dr. Jeevanjyot for their splendid hospitality and care. Each of them made sure that every step of the health check-up went smoothly and comfortably. Ms. Arshi at the reception was very courteous and guided us efficiently. Mr. Gulshan was incredibly supportive and ensured that all procedures were completed quickly and without hassle. Ms. Amrita, Ms. Shalini, and Dr. Jeevanjyot provided excellent care and professional attention. At the end, Ms. Anuradha served us a delicious meal, which was a delightful way to conclude the day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with great coordination, fast process, and genuine care from the staff. I truly appreciate the wonderful service by the entire team at BLK-Max Hospital. Highly recommended for preventive Health Check-Ups!

I stayed with my mother at BLK Max Hospital in Delhi during her knee replacement surgery, and I am extremely satisfied with the care we received. Our orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Ishwar Bohra, is highly professional and skilled. The surgery was very successful, and we are truly grateful for his expertise and guidance. I also want to highlight the excellent service provided by GDE Deepa Bahuguna, GDE Camlesh, and housekeeper T. Thangalaxmi on the 7th floor. Their dedication, kindness, and attentiveness made our stay much more comfortable. Overall, the experience at BLK Max Hospital exceeded our expectations. The staff is professional, compassionate, and caring. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone in need of high-quality medical care.

Food and Beverage department are doing an amazing job we are very satisfied with the morning tea and breakfast specially serving with a bowl of fruits and the lunch and dinner is very nice . We are ver impressed with Mr. vishal for attending the welfare of the patient and serving the patien very well.

I had a wonderful experience with BLK Max Kitchen. The food was fresh, tasty and served with great care. Every meal was well-prepared, hygienic, and thoughtfully balanced. The staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with special requests. Their service truly makes a hospital stay much more comfortable. Thanks Mr. Raj for great service and hospitality. Just because of dr laxmi mantri i visited there But related to the hospital nd their policies my experience was very bad and unsatisfied As i m the cghs beneficiary card holder First of all the waiting line in every step is too much irritating Firstly at the billing counter it will take 45 mibt to 1 hr just fr clearing the bill Thn opd there is no fix time of doctr if thy are havibg timing of 12 pm thy will come at 3 4 pm nd will wait for too long for consultancy Thn on the day of admission for the surgery First thy call us at 6am in the morning nd thn thy said staff will come at 8 am thy will do the process thn y u call us at 6am Thn the timing if admission desk employees are 8am thy r coming 9 am nd thn it will take 2 hour to arrnge the bed Thn after admitting the kitchen service is too slow the order is arriving after 1 hour… After this much of experience i ll think for the future consultation nd treatment
