It’s been a year since I got upper eyelid surgery with Dr. Lay, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. I had been considering it for a while but wanted to make sure I went to someone who really understood Asian eyelids and wasn’t just doing a little bit of everything. After some research, Dr. Lay stood out because this is his specialty. That gave me a lot of confidence going in. From the start, his team was super professional and easy to work with. When I finally came in for the consult, I felt like he actually listened to what I wanted. He wasn’t pushy at all, just very honest and clear about what would work best for my features. The day of the surgery, I was definitely nervous. I hadn’t done anything cosmetic before, and I didn’t really know what to expect. But once the procedure started, it was surprisingly chill. I barely felt anything, and the whole process was much quicker and smoother than I imagined. Recovery was really manageable. I didn’t have much pain, just some swelling and bruising in the first few days. Stitches came out a week later and the swelling really went down after that. Over the past year, the results have continued to settle in, and they look completely natural. My eyes look more open and refreshed, but not in a way that screams “surgery.” It’s subtle, which is exactly what I was going for. Since then, I’ve gone back to Dr. Lay for a few other treatments, including Botox, and Emsculpt. I’ve already referred a few friends to him, and they’ve had great experiences too. What I really appreciate is how approachable he is. If you ever have a question, he’ll actually respond—text, Instagram, whatever. He doesn’t disappear after your surgery, which means a lot. If you're thinking about this kind of procedure and want someone who really knows what they're doing, I’d highly recommend Dr. Lay.

I’ve been going to Dr Lay’s office for almost 10 years now. The office is clean, front staff always friendly, and the team is professional and knowledgeable. Dr Lay is an amazing surgeon. He knows his stuff and answers all my questions with a lot of patience. I can tell he is constantly keeping up to date on medical information and procedures. Emily is also fantastic and she knows her anatomy. I love coming here for my aesthetic needs!

I chose Dr. Lay because he specializes in Asian eyelid surgery, while many other surgeons I considered had a more generalist approach. Knowing he performs this procedure daily gave me confidence that he had the expertise and experience I was looking for. From the start, his staff was incredibly accommodating and helped me reschedule my consultation several times. When I arrived for my consultation and later for the procedure, everyone made me feel completely at ease. The procedure itself went smoothly. I was really nervous at first and actually shaking, but after the first incision, which I barely felt, my anxiety disappeared. There was just a small amount of bleeding on the first day, but nothing alarming. I even went out to dinner that same night with a friend who was visiting. Recovery was surprisingly easy. I didn’t experience any real pain, and two weeks after the procedure, I flew to Vegas for EDC and then continued traveling to Seattle and Vancouver without any issues or discomfort. What really sets Dr. Lay apart is how approachable and supportive he is. He’s always open to questions and quick to respond, whether through text or Instagram DM. It never felt like I was bothering him. He truly cares. Since my surgery, I’ve gone back to his clinic for CoolSculpting and Botox, and I’m now considering facial fat grafting with him. I’ve also recommended him to friends. Three have had eyelid surgery with him and loved their results. He’s someone I wholeheartedly trust and would recommend to anyone looking for a doctor who is both highly skilled and genuinely invested in your outcome. Since my surgery i've gone back to his clinic for CoolScultping, botox, and considering facial fat grafting from him as-well. I've also recommended him to my friends and 3 have gone to him for their eyelids and loved the results. He's someone I wholeheartedly trust and would recommended for anyone looking for a doctor who truly cares and wants the best for you.

Dr. Lay did my upper blepharoplasty about 4 years ago and I am still so in love with my results. I still look like myself just more awake and refreshed. The process from start to finish was so incredibly easy no one believes me when I tell them I had an upper bleph! Dr. Lay performed the procedure in his office and I was given local anesthetic medicine. I was able to drive myself to and from. I was even awake during the whole procedure chit chatting away with the man himself. The whole procedure was so comfortable. I felt zero pain during. In just one week I was back in the office with to take my stitches out. I am a very open book when it comes to all the procedures I do to keep up my beauty and youth so the recovery process was very easy. I showed up back to work in just a weeks time. Sure, I was still a bit swollen and a bit bruised but let me tell you, EVERYONE at work wanted to know all about it and complimented me on how great I looked. Now, 4 years later I'm still so happy with the results. From time to time, I get in my head and ask Dr. Lay if I need another one but he keeps it real with me and says "No" lol. If you're looking for someone who does great work and keeps it real. Dr. Lay is your man.
