Meu transplante capilar e a rinoplastia da minha esposa foram ótimos. Também fizemos nossos dentes, eles estragaram meus dentes, eu não sabia que iam desgastar todos os meus dentes, eu tinha dentes muito bons, mas queria melhorar. O dentista disse que eu tinha dentes bonitos, mas nunca me disse para não fazer. Quando fizeram meus dentes, colocaram junto como uma ponte, em vez de fazer um de cada vez, agora não tenho espaço entre eles, além de completamente arruinarem meus dentes, não fizeram do jeito certo. No Brasil, fui ver um dentista e eles me disseram que essa técnica é proibida aqui porque eles fizeram um trabalho de açougueiro na minha boca. Nós dois fizemos nossos dentes. Tive outro grande problema com minha lipoaspiração, efeitos colaterais muito ruins, porque eu não tinha gordura suficiente, mas o Dr. Baki fez sem nem olhar meu corpo. Minha cirurgia foi feita no sábado, liguei para eles na segunda-feira, mas ninguém me viu até quarta-feira. Finalmente vi o médico e ele disse que não havia nada para se preocupar, que era normal; com certeza não havia nada de normal na cirurgia. Enviei fotos para os médicos e todos disseram que eu precisava cuidar disso e que eu nem poderia viajar. O Dr. Baki disse que em 40 anos nunca viu tal coisa, mas disse que ficaria bem. Voltei para o Brasil na sexta-feira seguinte, consultei um cirurgião plástico que me disse que quase morri. Graças a Deus estou aqui, eles não se importaram com minha saúde, comunicação horrível com o médico. Quando falei com algumas pessoas responsáveis por cuidar dos pacientes lá, me disseram que retornariam logo, mas não retornaram por 10 horas; isso para mim foi uma loucura. Quando marquei a consulta, realmente queria falar com Hakan, me disseram que seria com ele, mas me ofereceram o Dr. Baki e eu disse que não queria o Dr. Baki, que queria o Dr. Hakan. No dia em que eu deveria ver Hakan, me disseram que ele estava com Covid e não poderia fazer minha cirurgia, achei estranho. Então me disseram que o Dr. Baki faria minha cirurgia e que ele era um cirurgião muito melhor. Eu não me senti bem com isso, mas fui mesmo assim. Entrei em contato com o Dr. Hakan e descobri que ele nunca teve Covid e que eu nunca tinha uma consulta com ele e que ele estava com a agenda cheia. Portanto, não tenho certeza se os recomendaria. Estou gastando dinheiro após a cirurgia e eles nem ofereceram pagar uma parte disso. Já se passaram quase 2 semanas após minha cirurgia e ainda estou cheio de hematomas e realmente em uma situação ruim. As 2 estrelas foram dadas porque a equipe de reservas é incrivelmente simpática e merece 10 estrelas, mas as pessoas que me designaram têm algumas coisas que não gostei, como empurrar para um médico diferente, e também o médico não fez um bom trabalho. Eu não recomendo. Vou postar fotos, também postarei fotos dos meus dentes antes e depois.

Se eu fizer outra cirurgia estética em Istambul, farei a reserva através do BookIMed

Gostei muito da minha viagem a Istambul. A Bookimed criou uma experiência muito facilitada. Ao chegar ao aeroporto, depois de um voo cancelado e de ter que remarcar a cirurgia, foi muito fácil encontrar meu transporte, que me levou diretamente ao hotel. Devido a complicações com nosso voo na chegada, o reagendamento da cirurgia foi organizado pelo meu coordenador médico, que lidou com isso muito rapidamente e facilmente (da minha parte, não tenho certeza se foi fácil para ele, rs). No dia seguinte, o transporte já estava agendado para me levar ao hospital para a rinoplastia de revisão. Havia uma barreira linguística considerável, mas a Bookimed garantiu que tivéssemos um tradutor conosco durante a maior parte da estadia ou estivesse prontamente disponível para se comunicar pelo celular, se necessário. Ao acordar da cirurgia, estava tremendo muito, o que parece ser uma experiência normal para os pacientes que acordam da anestesia, o que eu não sabia e causou um pouco de preocupação ao meu acompanhante. Depois disso, passei a noite no hospital, passei a maior parte do tempo dormindo, então as enfermeiras cuidaram bem de mim, mas ainda havia a barreira linguística, o que causou algumas dificuldades para entender quais medicamentos estavam me dando ou o que queriam que eu fizesse. Sou enfermeira nos Estados Unidos e posso dizer que as enfermeiras fizeram um trabalho fabuloso ao garantir que eu me movimentasse na noite da minha cirurgia para ajudar na circulação do sangue, mesmo que eu não estivesse com vontade. O coordenador médico veio pela manhã para ajudar a comprar meus medicamentos, depois tomamos um chá e esperamos cerca de 20 minutos pelo transporte que nos levou de volta ao hotel. Depois disso, meu acompanhante e eu passamos cerca de três noites no quarto do hotel antes que eu me sentisse bem o suficiente para explorar. Durante esse período, o coordenador médico continuou a verificar se estávamos bem e até nos deu algumas recomendações de lugares para visitar. Nós mesmos organizamos o transporte nos dias em que exploramos a cidade, mas, seguindo o conselho dos locais, nos certificamos de não sermos enganados pelos taxistas, pois isso é uma prática comum em Istambul, da qual fomos informados. Dias depois, foi organizado transporte para que eu voltasse ao médico novamente para retirar os "tampões" do nariz e limpá-lo. No geral, a dor foi bastante mínima, eu apenas me sentia muito cansada. O médico foi extremamente profissional e realmente dedicou seu tempo ao meu caso, que eu sabia ser extremamente difícil. O coordenador médico foi fantástico e realmente aliviou o estresse e a ansiedade da cirurgia. Se eu fizer outra cirurgia estética em Istambul, vou agendar através da BookIMed. Além disso, o Professor Dönër foi um cirurgião de rinoplastia INCRÍVEL e eu o recomendo altamente.

Eu mudei para o Cevahir Hotel Istanbul Asia

Ihsan foi absolutamente incrível! Ele é muito amigável e sempre disponível. Ele é o melhor coordenador. Eu recomendaria Ihsan a todos 😁. O Dr. Ali Ertan Capar e seu enfermeiro cirúrgico, Jon, foram muito profissionais, atenciosos e prestativos. Eles me verificavam regularmente. Eu definitivamente recomendo o médico e sua equipe. O consultório do médico era de primeira classe e limpo. Adorei a decoração. O pessoal do hospital usou tradutores de idiomas para se comunicar. A comida não era boa no hospital. Leve suas próprias barras de café da manhã. Sugestão: no futuro, faça o hospital fornecer água para os pacientes. Fui servido almoço sem bebida. Graças a DEUS, fui dado várias garrafas de água pelo Jon às suas custas. Eu NÃO recomendaria o hotel A11. O café da manhã é o mesmo todos os dias. Sem serviço de quarto. O elevador não vai para o lobby. O quarto era muito pequeno. A cama é muito baixa. Difícil levantar após a cirurgia. Meu quarto não foi limpo. O ar condicionado continuava desligando. O porteiro faz o melhor para ajudar. Troquei de hotel para o Cevahir Hotel Istanbul Asia. Este hotel era 5 estrelas e fantástico! Serviço de quarto 24 horas! Muito limpo. Meu quarto era limpo todos os dias. A maioria dos funcionários falava inglês. O cardápio era muito bom. A comida estava deliciosa. O quarto era espaçoso e tinha vista para a água. Eu podia abrir a janela para pegar ar fresco.

Effect of Surgical Closing in Total Knee Arthroplasty at Flexion or Extension; A Prospective Randomized Study

Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of knee position during wound closure (flexed versus extended) in total knee arthroplasty on knee strength and function, as determined by knee society scores and isokinetic testing of extensor and flexor muscle groups.

Methods: In a prospective, randomized, double-blind trial, 29 patients were divided in two groups: For Group 1 patients, surgical closing was performed with the knee extended, and for Group 2 patients, the knee flexed at 90°. All the patients were treated with the same anesthesia method, surgical team, surgical technique, prosthesis type and rehabilitation process. American Knee Society Score values and knee flexion degrees were recorded. Isokinetic muscle strength measurements of both knees in flexion and extension were performed using 60⁰ and 180⁰/second angular velocity. The peak torque and total work values, isokinetic muscle strength differences, and total work difference values were calculated for surgically-repaired and healthy knees.

Results: No significant difference in the mean American Knee Society Score values and knee flexion degrees was observed between the two groups. However, using isokinetic evaluation, a significant difference was found in the isokinetic muscle strength differences and total work difference of the flexor muscle between the two groups when patients were tested at 180°/second. Less loss of strength was detected in the isokinetic muscle strength differences of the flexor muscle in Group 2 (-4. 2%) than in Group 1 (-23. 1%).

Conclusion: For patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty, post-operative flexor muscle strength is improved if the knee is flexed during wound closure
