Research and Academic Contributions

Dr. Vural researches ototoxicity prevention – the study of ear poisoning from drugs – and sleep apnea. He has published over 20 articles in international refereed journals and authored multiple book chapters. These chapters cover subjects including salivary gland tumors, cervical esophagus cancers, and hypopharynx cancers.

Additionally, he translated sections of Bailey Head & Neck Surgery – Otolaryngology regarding medical ethics. He also translated the head and neck oncology section of the Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery Board Review.
