Dr. Pevni Dimitry is a cardiac surgeon with over 35 years of experience. He specializes in surgery for complex heart defects, including aortic and mitral valve problems and aortic aneurysms. Dr. Pevni specializes in surgical treatment of heart defects, such as congenital and acquired aortic and mitral valve anomalies, interventricular septal defects, and aortic aneurysms. He has developed a unique method for replacing heart valves on a working heart, enhancing cardiac surgery. Besides his surgical practice, Dr. Pevni is a lecturer at Tel Aviv University. His contributions to cardiac surgery include the most complex surgical operation on aortic valve transplantation for a patient with an artificial heart.
