Dr. Alessio Lovi is an experienced orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in traumatology and spine surgery for adults and children. He performs advanced procedures such as vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and anterior cervical discectomy. Dr. Lovi also treats scoliosis with both conservative and surgical methods, including endoscopic techniques.

Thanks to a Cariplo Foundation research grant, Dr. Della Torre returned to Italy in 2018 and established his lab within the Division of Genetic and Cell Biology of San Raffale Hospital (Milan, Italy).

Dr. Della Torre is now Assistant Professor of Rheumatology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and Senior Consultant at the Unit of Immunology, Rheumatology, Allergy, and Rare Disease (UnIRAR) of San Raffaele Hospital.

Dr. Della Torre authored more than 100 scientific publications on international peer-reviewed journals and achieved prestigious awards such as the Collegio Ghislieri and the Cariplo Foundation awards for young researchers, the TRIDEO award, the MyFirst AIRC research grant, and the Career Research Grant Award from the FOREUM Foundation.

With his seminal works Dr. Della Torre contributed to the characterization of a novel autoimmune disease known as “IgG4-related disease” and is currently considered “World Expert of IgG4-related disease” by the prestigious Expertscape platform.

Dr. Della Torre is the Disease Coordinator of the IgG4-related disease European working group of the European Reference Network (ERN) on Rare Connective Tissue and Musculoskeletal Diseases (ReCONNET).

Up to September 2022, his scientific publications received more than 6000 citations with an H-index of 35.

Dr. Della Torre presented his studies in different national and international immune-rheumatologic congresses, organized a number of scientific meetings, and co-authored 10 medical books. Professor Nadia Di Muzio is a Head of the Radiotherapy Department in the San Raffaele Research Hospital in Milan since 2008. She has a degree in general medicine and surgery and specialty in oncological radiotherapy from the University of Milan and has done an internship at the Department of Radiation Oncology in the University of Madison. Professor Di Muzio is an author of 200 studies in radiation oncology research and an advocate of high-precision hypofraction methods in the radical treatment of prostate tumors. She currently holds positions in the Italian Association of Medical Oncology, the Italian Society of Oncological Urology and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology.

Professor Massimo Candiani is a renowned gynecologist with over 30 years of experience and a specialist in endoscopic and laparoscopic surgeries, treatment of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, infertility, sexually transmitted diseases and urinary incontinence. He is also a co-founder and vice president of the Italian Endometriosis Association and a member of several professional organizations.
