She earned her doctorate in 2007 with her thesis titled “Computerized axiographic evaluation of centric occlusion-maximum intercuspation positions and condylar movements before and after relaxation splint therapy in patients with temporomandibular disorders.” Her specialization was certified in 2011. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saydam Mehmet is a general surgeon at Lokman Hekim Istanbul Hospital (2025–present). His work covers oncologic, endocrine, and metabolic surgery.
