Dr. Meryem Eken is an obstetrician-gynecologist and IVF specialist. She earned her M.D. and completed her residency at Istanbul University. She completed IVF clinical training at Zeynep Kamil in 2017. She led the IVF Unit at Hisar Intercontinental Hospital from 2020 to 2025. She heads the IVF Unit at Bahçeşehir University Medical Park Göztepe Hospital. She started in 2025. She has served on the faculty of Üsküdar University since 2024. She became a professor at Biruni University in 2025.

Her clinical focus includes infertility, intrauterine insemination (IUI), natural-cycle IVF, hysteroscopy, endometriosis, and minimally invasive myomectomy. She has authored or co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed international articles. Several appeared in SCI and SSCI journals. In 2016, she received First Prize for an oral presentation from the Turkish Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Dr. Mehmet Alp Tavas is a dental specialist with advanced degrees from Ege University and the University of Manchester. He completed both his Master’s and PhD in Dentistry. He worked as a Consultant Faculty Member at Queen Dental Center from 2000 to 2012. He has also served as a faculty member at İstanbul Medipol University and İstinye University.

Dr. Tavas has made important contributions to dental research. He has conducted studies on orthodontic bonding agents and enamel surface treatments. His work has been published in journals such as IRCS Medical Science and the British Journal of Orthodontics. These publications highlight his influence in dental science and education.

Dr. Emrah Koksal is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He completed medical school at Trakya University (2011–2017). He trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Gülhane Military Medical Academy (2017–2023). He was born in 1977 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. After completing his primary and high school education, he completed his undergraduate education at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2001. In the same year, he started his doctorate education in Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. After completing his doctorate in 2007, he became Associate Professor in 2011 and Professor in 2016 in the same department. Dr. Hayrettin Kesmezacar is an orthopaedic surgeon at Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul. He joined the hospital in 2013 and holds a current appointment from 2024. His clinical focus includes shoulder and elbow surgery, shoulder instability, rotator cuff tears, and orthopaedic trauma.

He became Professor at Bilim University Medical Faculty in 2011. He was appointed Associate Professor at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa in 2006. His training includes residency and fellowship at Cerrahpaşa in 1997 and 2000. He completed visiting fellowships at Cornell HSS in 2004 and Western Ontario/LHSC in 2009. Dr. Ozge Utku Aydemir is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Aydemir completed residency training at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital (2019–2023). Dr. Aydemir then served as a specialist doctor at Ankara Ataturk Sanatorium Training and Research Hospital (2023–2025). Dr. Aydemir earned an MD from Gazi University (English Program).

EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) Part 1 certified on 25 Jan 2025. Interests include facial and breast aesthetics, body contouring, microsurgery and hand surgery, reconstructive surgery, injectables (fillers, Botox), and lasers.

Publications include a 2023 article in The Journal of Hand Surgery on outcomes of wide-awake flexor tendon repairs in 58 fingers and 9 thumbs. Dr. Aydemir also completed a thesis on amniotic membrane use in flexor tendon repair. Presentations include oral and poster sessions at TPRECD and an international congress. Dr. Cagdas Erdogan is a gastroenterologist at Ankara Etlik City Hospital. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He earned his MD from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from 2014 to 2019. He then completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at Ankara City Hospital from 2019 to 2022. His clinical focus includes advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, POEM, EGD, colonoscopy, double-balloon enteroscopy), inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatology.

He has about 40 publications. His work appears in The Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology, Scientific Reports, Endoscopy, and Digestive Diseases and Sciences. Notable studies address vedolizumab in IBD and prophylaxis for post-ERCP pancreatitis. He also reported a 13-year Crohn’s cohort comparing infliximab and adalimumab. Additional work covers outcomes with an adalimumab biosimilar and innovative endoscopic therapies (MCA via double-balloon enteroscopy, holmium laser for Bouveret syndrome, POEM for Zenker’s diverticulum, and ESD for esophageal papillomatosis).
