O Prof. Dr. Serdar Bedii Omay é um respeitado hematologista. Ele é especialista em Hematologia e Transplante de Medula Óssea. Graduou-se na Faculdade de Medicina de Hacettepe em 1985. Completou sua formação em Medicina Interna na Universidade de Ege em 1990. Obteve seu doutorado em Hematologia na Escola Médica Mie do Japão em 1995.

O Dr. Omay publicou 65 artigos científicos, 112 artigos em congressos e 34 apresentações em conferências internacionais. Atuou como professor na Universidade de Ege e na Universidade Técnica de Karadeniz. Também trabalhou como Especialista em Hematologia e Doutor em Hematologia Molecular no Japão. Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. After specializing in general surgery, He held key positions as head of general surgery departments and chief physician in several prominent military hospitals, including Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara, and Manisa.

Dr. Osman has had a special focus on endoscopic surgery since 1995. He received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery techniques in Germany and has successfully performed a wide range of laparoscopic procedures. He has a wealth of experience in the surgical treatment of various cancers, including breast and thyroid cancer, where he has implemented new treatment methods that reduce the risk of complications. His surgical expertise spans critical cancer surgeries, such as the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer resections, gastric cancer, and other complex malignancies. Additionally, his skills in metabolic surgery have led to lasting outcomes for patients suffering from obesity and diabetes, ensuring a better quality of life through sustained weight loss and reduced risk of diabetes.

Dr. Specialist Surgeon Rafail Ibayev is an expert in advanced gastrointestinal surgery. He specializes in both laparoscopic and open procedures for diseases of the stomach, intestine, and rectum. Dr. Ibayev is a recognized leader in obesity and metabolic surgery. He has extensive experience in sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric balloon procedures. Dr. Hilmi Apak is a respected pediatric hematology-oncology specialist with more than 21 years of experience. He is trained in pediatric oncology. Dr. Apak has led advanced treatments, including bone marrow transplantation, leukemia chemotherapy, and CAR T-cell therapy.

He has published 75 international medical articles, showing his strong contribution to pediatric oncology research. Dr. Apak has worked as assistant editor for the Turkish Pediatrics Archives Periodical. He has also held important academic and leadership positions, such as Head of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa.

Dr. Binnur Simsek is a gastroenterology specialist. She has experience in liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, and viral hepatitis (B, C, Delta). She also treats alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s colitis.

She completed her medical and gastroenterology training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Simsek has worked at Istanbul University, Sanlıurfa Education and Research Hospital, Liv Hospital, and Istinye University. She is a member of the Turkish Association for the Study of the Liver and the Turkish Society of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Erkancakir is a specialist in pediatric chest diseases. He has experience with acute and chronic respiratory problems, respiratory tract infections, and bronchoscopic procedures. His areas of focus include asthma, sleep-related breathing disorders, cystic fibrosis, and tuberculosis.

He completed his medical degree at Istanbul University. He continued his specialty training at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital and Marmara University. Dr. Itir Sirinoglu Temiz is a Professor of Hematology. She specializes in lymphoma, acute and chronic leukemias, multiple myeloma, thrombocytopenias, thrombosis, anemia, and bone marrow failure. She graduated with honors from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. She completed her hematology training at Dr. Abdurrahman Yurtarslan Oncology Education and Research Hospital.

Dr. Sirinoglu Temiz has held key academic and administrative positions. She served as Head of Internal Medicine at IAU Faculty of Medicine. She was also Education and Administrative Manager at SBÜ Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk EAH Hematology Clinic. She has broad experience in adult hematology, stem cell transplantation, and therapeutic apheresis. She currently practices at Liv Hospital.

Dr. Tolga Akman is a urologist with expertise in advanced surgical procedures. He performs penis prosthesis, bladder, prostate, and kidney cancer surgeries. He is skilled in laparoscopic urology and kidney stone treatments. Dr. Akman also treats female urinary incontinence, pediatric vesicoureteral reflux, and performs microsurgical varicocele procedures. He offers penis enlargement and correction of Peyronie’s disease.

Dr. Akman completed his residencies at Istanbul University School of Medicine and Bezmialem Vakıf University. He is now a Professor of Medicine at Medicana Hospital Bahcelievler. He is active in both clinical practice and academic work in urology.
