Dr. Batur Gonenc Kanar is a leading cardiologist with training from top European centers. Dr. Gokhan Ertas is a Professor of Cardiology. He has broad experience in ischemic heart disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure. He specializes in advanced interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography, stent placement, and percutaneous valve interventions such as TAVI and MitraClip. Dr. Ertas is skilled in both diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. These include 3D echocardiography, CT coronary angiography, and various cardiac catheterization methods.
Dr. Ertas earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his cardiology residency at Kocaeli University. In 2020, he became a Professor of Cardiology. He leads the Heart Transplantation and Artificial Heart Center at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.
