He started his residency in urology at Gazi University Hospital in 1987 and completed his specialization in 1992, becoming a urology specialist. Dr. Biri completed his compulsory service between 1993-1995. In 1995, he was appointed as an assistant professor at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine.
