After completing his medical doctorate education at Gazi University School of Medicine, which is located in the capital city of Ankara he carried on to his Orthopaedic and Traumatology fellowship training at the same university. After his fellow training, he completed his mandatory governmental and military duties as an orthopaedic surgeon between 2008 and 2011. He later started his Orthopaedic career in Istanbul Acıbadem Hospitals network. Between 2013 and 2022 he served as an academic member of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar School of Medicine where he was entitled Associate Professor in 2021. He is now private practicing in his own clinic in Istanbul. 

Starting from the year 2014 he has been especially focused on the fields of patient-specific orthopaedic surgery, computer-aided surgical planning, 3D printed custom surgical guides and implants. These fields are very novel even throughout the world. He performed many surgeries as the first examples of their own for Turkey. He mainly uses his special interest and knowledge on patient-specific orthopaedics to surgically treat technically challenging cases of malunion, bone deformity and complex arthroplasty cases including revision arthroplasty.

Prof. Dr. Süleyman Bülent Bektaşer was born in Kayseri in 1968. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1992. In 1997, he completed his specialization training in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara Dr. Muhittin Ülker Emergency and Traumatology Hospital with a thesis on "Total Knee Arthroplasty Applications and Early Results". Between 1997 and 2000, he worked as a specialist doctor at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of the same hospital, and between 2000 and 2004, he served as a chief resident at the same hospital. Between 2004 and 2013, he worked as a chief resident in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital of the Ministry of Health. He became an associate professor in 2004 and worked as a lecturer at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital between 2014 and 2016. He was appointed as a full professor at Yüksek İhtisas University in 2018. Throughout his academic career, he has published numerous scientific articles. He currently works at Koru Ankara Hospital and his medical interests include:

Dr. Li Guo Qiang is a specialist in conservative scoliosis treatment, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and neurological rehabilitation. He has 26 years of experience. He is known for his research on stimuli-responsive polymers and polymer composites.

Dr. Li has received nearly $8 million in research funding. He is recognized for his work in engineering structures and medical devices. He received the LSU Distinguished Research Master Award in 2023, highlighting his contributions to both medicine and engineering.

Dr. Cengiz Sen is an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist. He has expertise in revision arthroplasty, degenerative joint disease, congenital limb deformities, and pediatric orthopedic disorders. Dr. Sen is skilled in limb lengthening, pseudoarthrosis surgery, and managing periprosthetic infections. He is also a pioneer in using stem cell therapy for orthopedic conditions.

Dr. Sen has published many articles, especially on total knee replacement and infected nonunion. He is a professor at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He has received the AOTT Oral Presentation Award for his academic and clinical achievements.

Dr. Azmi Hamzaoglu is a leading spine surgeon with 36 years of experience in orthopedics and traumatology. He founded the Istanbul Scoliosis and Spine Center, the first facility in Turkey focused on spine surgery.

Dr. Hamzaoglu has performed thousands of complex surgeries, such as discectomy, kyphoplasty, scoliosis correction, and anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. He is known for developing new surgical techniques and has played a key role in improving spine care in Turkey.

He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association. He has also held important academic and clinical leadership positions, showing his dedication to high standards and patient care in spine surgery.

Dr. Murat Demiroglu is an expert in orthopedics. He is known for his research on osteoarthritis. He co-authored the review "Subchondral Bone and Its Role in Osteoarthritis," published in the Open Journal of Orthopedics.

His work explains the importance of subchondral bone in osteoarthritis. Dr. Demiroglu’s research adds important knowledge to the field. He is dedicated to improving orthopedic science.

O Prof. Luigi Massimo Zagra é o chefe do Departamento de Cirurgia do Quadril I no IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi em Milão.

É professor visitante na Escola de Especialização em Ortopedia e Traumatologia da Universidade de Milão.

O Prof. Zagra realizou mais de 5.000 operações ortopédicas de grande porte.

Principalmente focado na cirurgia do quadril, incluindo procedimentos primários complexos, revisões (25% dos casos), cirurgia conservadora, osteotomias e artroplastia de doenças pediátricas do quadril.

Realiza diariamente cirurgias de substituição do quadril para artrose, particularmente em casos de displasia congênita, malformações de desenvolvimento e pós-traumáticas, artrite reumatoide, necrose em pacientes jovens e idosos, necessitando de implantes especiais para evitar quaisquer complicações possíveis. 

Lida com problemas em implantes previamente colocados, em particular desgaste de material, como em próteses metal-metal ou de polietileno de antiga geração, próteses dolorosas, frouxas, instáveis, infectadas, utilizando métodos seguros para os tecidos e não invasivos e os mais recentes implantes de cerâmica e titânio, incluindo os cimentados.

Atualmente é Presidente do Comitê Científico da Sociedade Europeia do Quadril e da Sociedade Italiana do Quadril, bem como membro do Comitê Executivo da EFORT, do Comitê Internacional da American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons e do Comitê Científico do Registro Italiano de Artroplastia. 

É autor e coautor de 130 artigos publicados em revistas nacionais e internacionais, além de especialista convidado e palestrante em mais de 500 congressos na Itália e no exterior.
