With over 30 years of surgical experience, he founded the Organ Transplantation Center at Atatürk University (2003-2010) and completed fellowships at Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Polat has authored more than 50 scientific publications and serves as Vice President of the Turkish Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgery Society.

Dr. Bülent Ünal is a general surgeon and surgical oncologist. He is Head of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Çukurova University in 1996. He completed his general surgery residency at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in 2001. He finished a minor specialization in surgical oncology at İnönü University in 2012.
