Dr. Mehmet Orçun Akdemir is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association. He has published 24 articles in international peer‑reviewed journals, many indexed in SCI/SCI‑E. He has 17 papers in national peer‑reviewed journals. He has given 5 presentations at international meetings.

His work centers on the cornea and anterior segment. Areas include keratoconus; DALK, PKP, and DSAEK; corneal biomechanics; and corneal cross‑linking. He also studies glaucoma surgery after keratoplasty, ocular surface disease and pseudoexfoliation, and neuro‑ophthalmology and retina. He contributed to 4 ophthalmology book translations. His studies compare DALK and PKP outcomes in keratoconus, analyze biomechanics after DALK, evaluate graft thickness after DSAEK, and compare trabeculectomy with the Ahmed valve in post‑PKP glaucoma.

Assoc. Prof. Utkan Boran is a general surgeon. He focuses on oncologic, metabolic, endocrine, and laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic hernia repair, anti‑reflux procedures, surgery for morbid obesity and type 2 diabetes, and sleeve gastrectomy.

Dr. Ozgur Kilickesmez is an interventional neuroradiology and interventional radiology specialist at Memorial Goztepe Hospital in Istanbul (2025–present). He previously worked at Medicana Atakoy and Zincirlikuyu (2024–2025). He also served at Basaksehir Cam ve Sakura City Hospital (2020–2024), Istanbul Training and Research Hospital (2012–2020), and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London (2011–2012).

He is a Professor at the University of Health Sciences (2020). He was an Associate Professor at Yeditepe University Hospital (2010). He completed training in interventional oncology at King’s College University (2011) and in interventional radiology at Cerrahpasa (2010). He provides international training in minimally invasive tumor therapy, non-surgical thyroid interventions, new-generation embolization, and stent-based brain aneurysm treatment. Dr. Bahri Gok is a urologist at LHÜ Ankara Hospital (2024–). He earned his MD from Selçuk University (2001–2007). He completed his urology residency at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital (2008–2013). He served in the Department of Urology at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University as Assistant Professor (2017–2020) and Associate Professor (2020–2023). He was the Urology Training Supervisor at Ankara City Hospital (2019–2023).

Accreditations and training include da Vinci Console Surgeon training at IRCAD (05.11.2019). He attended the EAU Robotic Urology Section meeting (2018) and the National Endourology Congresses (2013, 2015, 2019). Dr. Mehmet Alp Tavas is a dental specialist with advanced degrees from Ege University and the University of Manchester. He completed both his Master’s and PhD in Dentistry. He worked as a Consultant Faculty Member at Queen Dental Center from 2000 to 2012. He has also served as a faculty member at İstanbul Medipol University and İstinye University.

Dr. Tavas has made important contributions to dental research. He has conducted studies on orthodontic bonding agents and enamel surface treatments. His work has been published in journals such as IRCS Medical Science and the British Journal of Orthodontics. These publications highlight his influence in dental science and education.

Dr. Mustafa Serkan Durdu is a cardiovascular surgeon at Memorial Göztepe Hospital. He previously worked at Memorial Ankara Hospital and Ankara University. He focuses on minimally invasive heart and valve surgery. His work includes right anterior minithoracotomy and combined procedures.

He has published peer-reviewed studies on sutureless aortic valve replacement. His work also covers multiple valve implantation via right anterior thoracotomy, valve surgery with right coronary artery bypass, and molecular markers of chronic atrial fibrillation. His papers have appeared in The Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Heart, Lung and Circulation, and The Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon.
