Dr. Hilmi Apak is a respected pediatric hematology-oncology specialist with more than 21 years of experience. He is trained in pediatric oncology. Dr. Apak has led advanced treatments, including bone marrow transplantation, leukemia chemotherapy, and CAR T-cell therapy.

He has published 75 international medical articles, showing his strong contribution to pediatric oncology research. Dr. Apak has worked as assistant editor for the Turkish Pediatrics Archives Periodical. He has also held important academic and leadership positions, such as Head of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa.

O Dr. Sertkaya formou-se na Konya Meram Science High School em 2001 e entrou na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Gazi no mesmo ano, graduando-se em 2008. Concluiu a sua especialização em urologia no Hospital de Treinamento e Pesquisa Haydarpaşa Numune em 2014, tornando-se especialista em urologia.

Desde que se tornou especialista, ele tem focado na subespecialidade de Andrologia, participando de diversas sessões de formação e conferências, além de realizar cirurgias com alguns dos principais professores de Andrologia do mundo. Em 2017, ele passou nos exames de competência escritos e orais conduzidos pela Associação Europeia de Urologia, obtendo o título de “FEBU”.

Em 2020, o Dr. Sertkaya alcançou o título de Professor Associado de Urologia. Sema Yılmaz was born on July 30, 1965. She received her undergraduate degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty and completed her medical residency training at the Department of Pediatrics at Zeynep Kamil Women's and Children's Health and Diseases Hospital. She also completed her medical subspecialty training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Cukurova University. Her medical residency thesis was titled "The Relationship Between Morning First Urine Density and Nocturnal Enuresis in Children Aged 3-6 Years", and her medical subspecialty thesis was titled "Comparison of Sphingosine 1-phosphate Receptor 4 Gene Expression in Healthy Children and Neuroblastoma Patients". She started her medical career as a general practitioner. After working as a general practitioner for 4 years, she worked as a doctor researcher at Zeynep Kamil Women's and Children's Health and Diseases Training and Research Hospital for 5 years. She then served as a specialist doctor, assistant professor, and associate professor at various institutions. She worked at Houston MD Anderson, North Carolina-UNC, Boston-Harvard University in the USA. Additionally, she conducted research on cell therapies. She received the title of professor in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Usak Medical Faculty. She is a member of the Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group, European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), Turkish Medical Association, Turkish National Pediatrics Association, Turkish Pediatrics Association, Pediatrics Specialty Academy Association (PUADER), Turkish Immunology Association, Turkish Hematology Association, and Molecular Oncology Association (MOKAD). Dr. Ismail Oral Hastaoglu graduated from Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. He completed his specialization at Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Center in 2005. He is a member of several professional organizations, including EACTS, ESVS, UVCD, the Phlebology Association, and TKDCD.

Dr. Hastaoglu specializes in coronary bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, congenital heart diseases, heart tumors, and aneurysm treatments. He also has experience in carotid artery operations, aortic aneurysm repair, peripheral artery disease management, and AV fistula procedures. He has made important contributions to cardiovascular surgery.

Op. Dr. Faruk Gençoğlu completed his medical faculty career, which he started at Samsun 19 Mayıs University, by joining the academic staff of Istanbul Cerrahpaşa Cardiology Institute in 2015 and receiving his specialization in 2020. Gençoğlu, who actively took part in approximately 3 thousand cases during this process; He has performed surgery for adult cardiovascular diseases such as adult coronary artery disease, heart valve diseases (aortic-mitral-tricuspid), aortic surgery, carotid surgery, peripheral vascular diseases, venous insufficiency (varicose veins), deep vein thrombosis. O Prof. Emin Tireli, MD, é um dos principais cirurgiões cardiovasculares pediátricos. Ele realizou mais de 6.329 cirurgias cardíacas congênitas desde 1993. É conhecido mundialmente por ser um dos primeiros a utilizar o complexo procedimento de Nikaidoh para transposição das grandes artérias (TGA).

O Dr. Tireli realiza mais de 100 cirurgias cardíacas neonatais a cada ano. Sua expertise inclui operações de troca arterial, anomalias de retorno venoso pulmonar total, bandagem pulmonar e procedimentos de Norwood. Ele utilizou técnicas híbridas em 15 casos. O Dr. Tireli também completou 30 reconstruções de anomalias da aorta e muitas ligações de persistência do canal arterial (PCA) em recém-nascidos de peso extremamente baixo. Seu trabalho apoia significativamente os cuidados neonatais.

Professor Dr. Cenap Zeybek is a respected Pediatric Cardiologist known for his skill in advanced heart procedures. He became an Associate Professor in 2011. In 2017, he was promoted to Professor. He completed his residency in Pediatrics from 2002 to 2006 at Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training and Research Hospital. He worked as a Pediatrician at Ankara Beytepe Military Hospital between 2006 and 2009. He completed his subspecialty training in Paediatric Cardiology at GATA Faculty of Medicine Pediatric Cardiology Department from 2010 to 2013. He became an Assistant Professor in 2014 and obtained the title of Associate Professor in April 2016. He worked as a faculty member in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology at GATA Faculty of Medicine between September 2014 and December 2021. As a pediatric cardiologist, Dr. Kürşat Fidancı has seen numerous patients and his medical interests include Fetal Echocardiography, Congenital Heart Diseases, Rheumatic Heart Diseases, Rhythm Disorders, and Athlete's Heart Health and Follow-up.
