She completed her residency at Ankara Training and Research Hospital.

She has held key academic and clinical positions, including Consultant Specialist at Health Sciences University Okmeydani Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Cholak has also led humanitarian surgical missions in Jordan and Uzbekistan. Dr. Emrah Koksal is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He completed medical school at Trakya University (2011–2017).
