Dr. Zuhal Cakmak Peksen is a Family Medicine Specialist since 2017. She earned her MD from Çukurova University in 2010. She also served as Educational and Administrative Supervisor at Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital. She has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Her research covers hernia repair, perianal fistula, pilonidal disease, hepatic hydatid disease, laparoscopic surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery. Her work has been published in journals such as Digestive Surgery, Hernia, Techniques in Coloproctology, and the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery. She is a member of the Turkish Surgical Association, the National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, the Hernia Society, the Turkish HPB Surgery Association, the Stem Cell and Cellular Therapies Association, and the Gastroesophageal Reflux Association.

Dr. Ercan Ozden is a specialist in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He later received a subspecialty in medical oncology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 2016 to 2020.

Dr. Ozden has worked in medical oncology at Şırnak State Hospital. He has also served as an internal medicine specialist at Bağcılar Private Safa Hospital and Küçükçekmece Batı Bahat Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience in both internal medicine and oncology.

Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at İstinye University, Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–present). He previously served as Associate Professor and Education Coordinator at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital (2023–2025). He was also a Medical Oncologist there (2018–2021).

He has been a member of ASCO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology since 2018. He is the author or co-author of 19 peer-reviewed international papers on colon, breast, gastric, pancreatic, lung, thyroid, sarcoma, and colorectal cancers.

Notable works include a multicentre study on stage IIB colon cancer survival (Journal of Chemotherapy). He also studied the De Ritis ratio for lung metastasis in testicular cancer (Current Urology). His prognostic studies used PET/CT, MSI, lymph node ratio, and metabolic tumor volume.

A formação especializada foi concluída no Hospital de Treinamento e Pesquisa Haydarpaşa Numune, com foco em gastroenterologia. O médico ocupou cargos em vários hospitais, incluindo o Hospital Haydarpasha Nummune e o Hospital de Treinamento e Pesquisa Shishli Etfal, e trabalhou na Policlínica Privada Unimed e no Hospitallium Camlica.<\/p>

Dr. Osman Aktas has been serving as a general surgeon at Ataşehir Avicenna Hospital since 2005. Born in Kayseri in 1960, he graduated with his medical degree from Ankara University in 1983. Following his graduation, he fulfilled his military service in medical units for two years. He completed his general surgery residency at GATA from 1986 to 1990. After specializing in general surgery, He held key positions as head of general surgery departments and chief physician in several prominent military hospitals, including Tatvan, Diyarbakır, Ankara, and Manisa.

Dr. Osman has had a special focus on endoscopic surgery since 1995. He received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery techniques in Germany and has successfully performed a wide range of laparoscopic procedures. His expertise extends to gallbladder surgery, abdominal wall and inguinal hernia repairs, appendicitis, reflux and stomach surgeries, as well as complex cases such as gastrointestinal tumors, intestinal obstructions, and various other intestinal diseases, all managed through minimally invasive methods.

In 2002, Dr. Osman transitioned to the private sector, where he broadened his practice to include modern treatments for anal diseases like hemorrhoids, fistulas, and fissures, utilizing advanced techniques such as laser therapy.

Dr. Osman is also recognized for his significant contributions to oncological surgery. He has a wealth of experience in the surgical treatment of various cancers, including breast and thyroid cancer, where he has implemented new treatment methods that reduce the risk of complications. His surgical expertise spans critical cancer surgeries, such as the Whipple procedure for pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer resections, gastric cancer, and other complex malignancies. Additionally, his skills in metabolic surgery have led to lasting outcomes for patients suffering from obesity and diabetes, ensuring a better quality of life through sustained weight loss and reduced risk of diabetes.

With his vast experience and advanced skills in both laparoscopic and cancer surgeries, Dr. Osman remains at the forefront of surgical excellence, offering innovative and comprehensive care to all his patients.

Dr. Binnur Simsek is a gastroenterology specialist. She has experience in liver cirrhosis, portal hypertension, hepatocellular carcinoma, liver transplantation, and viral hepatitis (B, C, Delta). She also treats alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s colitis.

She completed her medical and gastroenterology training at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Simsek has worked at Istanbul University, Sanlıurfa Education and Research Hospital, Liv Hospital, and Istinye University. She is a member of the Turkish Association for the Study of the Liver and the Turkish Society of Gastroenterology.

O médico formou-se na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Uludağ com um Diploma de Medicina em 1983 e completou uma residência em Oncologia Radioterápica no Centro de Oncologia e Medicina Nuclear em Istambul em 1990. Uma bolsa de pós-doutorado em Termoradioterapia foi concluída na Universidade Thomas Jefferson de 1990 a 1994. O médico atuou como Professor e Presidente do Departamento de Oncologia Radioterápica na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Uludağ de 1994 a 2005 e foi o Coordenador de Acreditação da Faculdade de 2001 a 2004.<\/p>

De 2004 a 2017, o médico foi Professor e Diretor do Departamento de Oncologia Radioterápica no Centro Médico Anadolu, também servindo como Coordenador de Ciências Oncológicas de 2011 a 2017. Atualmente, o médico é o Diretor de Ciências Oncológicas no Hospital Medicana Bursa, posição que ocupa desde 2018.<\/p>
