Dr. Fatma Gulhan Sahbaz is a neurologist. She graduated from Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Medicine. Desde 2006, é Chefe do Departamento de Neurologia do Hospital Universitário Quironsalud de Madrid e do Hospital Ruber Juan Bravo.

Professor de Medicina na Faculdade de Ciências Biomédicas da Universidade Europeia de Madrid, possui a acreditação nacional de Professor de Ciências Médicas (emitida pela ANECA).

Doutor em Medicina, Universidade Complutense de Madrid (UCM). Prêmio de Tese Doutoral Distinta (UCM, 2004): Estudo sobre a relação do vírus herpes humano 6 como fator ambiental na esclerose múltipla.

Investigador principal de 100 ensaios clínicos nacionais e internacionais.

7 projetos de pesquisa FIS do Instituto de Saúde Carlos III (os últimos 5 como investigador principal).

10 projetos de fundações privadas, recebidos em base competitiva (7 como investigador principal).

Autor de 139 artigos internacionais com fator de impacto total de 949,917 e 4.552 citações. 38 livros e capítulos de livros com um fator H de 34 (2018).

Suas publicações destacam-se em revistas que têm o maior impacto global na pesquisa, como o New England Journal of Medicine e o Lancet.

O Dr. Rafael Arroyo realizou mais de 300 apresentações internacionais e nacionais em vários Congressos.
