Dr. Verges graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Barcelona in 1980 and moved to Boston (USA) to conduct basic research in ophthalmology, obtaining a PhD in Biology from Harvard University and defending his doctoral thesis on the mechanisms of tear secretion, which would become the basis for understanding the pathology of dry eye syndrome (thesis presented in Barcelona, ​​1983) and which earned him the National Research Prize (1983).

A Dra. Séverine Iborra é a Médica Chefe do Departamento de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia do Städtisches Klinikum Solingen. Suas responsabilidades incluem obstetrícia, a sala de parto, a unidade neonatal e ginecologia. O departamento também inclui a Clínica de Senologia/Mama no Centro de Mama Bergisches Solingen, liderada pela Dra. Manuela Seifert.

A Dra. Séverine Iborra é originária da França. Além de seu trabalho científico, com inúmeras publicações e apresentações em grandes conferências ginecológicas, a Dra. Iborra aprofundou suas especialidades médicas. Ela obteve certificações em diagnóstico e terapia oncológica do Grupo de Trabalho de Oncologia Ginecológica, bem como qualificações adicionais em Patologia Cervical e Colposcopia (AGCPC), Uroginecologia e Cirurgia Reconstrutiva Pélvica (AGUP), e da Associação Profissional de Ginecologistas (BVF).

Em 2019, a Dra. Iborra concluiu com sucesso uma especialização adicional em “Oncologia Ginecológica” e “Obstetrícia Especial e Medicina Perinatal.” Ela é membro ativo de importantes sociedades médicas alemãs em sua área, incluindo a Sociedade Alemã de Ginecologia e Obstetrícia, o Grupo de Trabalho de Patologia Cervical e Colposcopia, e a Sociedade Alemã de Medicina Pré-Natal e do Parto.

O Prof. Associado Priv.-Doz. Dr. Gerald Prager é um especialista em hematologia e oncologia interna baseado em Viena, com cerca de 17 a 19 anos de experiência. Ele formou-se na Universidade Médica de Viena. De 2006 a 2011, completou a sua residência e bolsa de estudo em hematologia e oncologia lá. Em 2011, foi Professor Visitante no Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center (USC). Em 2012, tornou-se Professor Associado na MedUni Viena.

Ele lidera a Unidade de Medicina de Precisão em Cancro. Seu trabalho concentra-se no câncer colorretal, oncologia de precisão, angiogênese tumoral e avaliação de biomarcadores preditivos. É revisor permanente para revistas de destaque, incluindo Blood e o European Journal of Clinical Investigation.

Dr. Christiane Thallinger is an Austrian dermatologist and venereologist. She focuses on skin cancer and oncologic dermatology. She began her medical career in 1999. She completed dermatology training at the Medical University of Vienna. She later served as a senior physician in its Department of Dermatology.

Her expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma. She performs dermatosurgery, cryotherapy, and photodynamic therapy. She also manages skin side effects caused by cancer treatment.

She is active in patient care and academic research. She is recognized for her patient-centered approach and for advancing dermatologic oncology in Austria.

PD Dr. med. Scholz is Chief Physician of the Breast Pathology Center at Asklepios Barmbek in Hamburg. One in four breast cancer patients in Hamburg is treated here. Care follows current clinical standards.

Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at İstinye University, Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–present). He previously served as Associate Professor and Education Coordinator at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital (2023–2025). He was also a Medical Oncologist there (2018–2021).

He has been a member of ASCO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology since 2018. He is the author or co-author of 19 peer-reviewed international papers on colon, breast, gastric, pancreatic, lung, thyroid, sarcoma, and colorectal cancers.

Notable works include a multicentre study on stage IIB colon cancer survival (Journal of Chemotherapy). He also studied the De Ritis ratio for lung metastasis in testicular cancer (Current Urology). His prognostic studies used PET/CT, MSI, lymph node ratio, and metabolic tumor volume.

Dr. Irfan Cicin is a Professor of Medical Oncology at the Trakya University Faculty of Medicine (2015–present). He has over 20 years of medical oncology experience and has held academic roles since 2010.
