O Prof. Emin Tireli, MD, é um dos principais cirurgiões cardiovasculares pediátricos. Ele realizou mais de 6.329 cirurgias cardíacas congênitas desde 1993. É conhecido mundialmente por ser um dos primeiros a utilizar o complexo procedimento de Nikaidoh para transposição das grandes artérias (TGA).
O Dr. Tireli realiza mais de 100 cirurgias cardíacas neonatais a cada ano. Sua expertise inclui operações de troca arterial, anomalias de retorno venoso pulmonar total, bandagem pulmonar e procedimentos de Norwood. Ele utilizou técnicas híbridas em 15 casos. O Dr. Tireli também completou 30 reconstruções de anomalias da aorta e muitas ligações de persistência do canal arterial (PCA) em recém-nascidos de peso extremamente baixo. Seu trabalho apoia significativamente os cuidados neonatais.

Biography
Associate Professor Koray Aykut is currently the cardiovascular surgeon of İzmir University. Previously, he was surgeon at Ege Hospital from 2008 to 2013. His specific teaching and research interests cover adult heart surgery and vascular surgery. He has authored 10 articles that are published in peer-review journals listed by SCI and SCI-e and 8 articles that are published in national journals.
Associate Professor Koray Aykut was graduated from Ege university in 1999 and completed residency of cardiovascular surgery in Dokuz Eylül University in 2005. He was cardiac surgeon in Kars State Hospital from 2005 to 2007 for compulsory service. He has been in Cyprus Army Hospital from 2007 to 2008 for his military service.

Prof. Dr. Deniz Süha Küçükaksu is a cardiovascular surgeon with over 35 years of experience. He specializes in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, heart transplantation, and mechanical circulatory support. He leads the Heart Transplantation and Artificial Heart Center at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.
Dr. Küçükaksu completed his medical and surgical training in Turkey. He also received advanced fellowships in Germany, France, and the United States. His focus has been on LVAD systems and heart failure surgery.
He introduced mechanical circulatory support and artificial heart programs in Turkey. He has performed many types of surgeries, including coronary bypass (off-pump), valve replacements, aortic repair (EVAR/TEVAR), and reoperations. He has also established heart transplant centers at several institutions.
Dr. Küçükaksu has held senior academic and administrative roles. He has contributed to total artificial heart surgery and hybrid cardiovascular procedures. He has received national and international awards for his scientific and surgical work.
