Desde janeiro de 1993, o Dr. Totaro exerce o cargo de Coordenador do Centro de PMA (Procriação Medicamente Assistida) e do Centro de Ecografia Obstétrica-Ginecológica no Ospedale Santa Maria, no Departamento Materno-Infantil. Sob sua supervisão, o Centro, um dos principais centros de PMA na Itália, realiza mais de 1.000 procedimentos por ano. Ospedale Santa Maria - está em primeiro lugar, pelo número de ciclos de IIU, inseminação intrauterina (586) - técnica de nível I, enquanto pelo número de procedimentos de descongelamento de oócitos - técnicas de nível II e III - o hospital de Santa Maria de Bari ocupa o 4.º lugar no ranking nacional.

Em 1986, o Dr. Totaro formou-se em Medicina e Cirurgia pela Universidade de Bari, Itália, com nota máxima, onde 4 anos depois se especializou em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia. Dr. Hilmi Apak is a respected pediatric hematology-oncology specialist with more than 21 years of experience. He is trained in pediatric oncology. Dr. Apak has led advanced treatments, including bone marrow transplantation, leukemia chemotherapy, and CAR T-cell therapy.

He has published 75 international medical articles, showing his strong contribution to pediatric oncology research.
