Prof. Abuzer Dirican is a Professor of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology and Head of Department at Florence Nightingale Hospital. He graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. He completed his general surgery training at SSK Ankara in 2000. He served at İnönü University’s Liver Transplant Institute and became a professor in 2017. He also completed a clinical and research fellowship in liver transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.

He authored the Liver Transplantation chapter in Schwartz’s Principles of Surgery in 2016. His publications cover cholangiocarcinoma, liver transplantation, endocrine surgery, and colorectal surgery. Dr. Ayse Yesim Oral is an Ophthalmology Specialist at Memorial Ataşehir Hospital in Istanbul. She has more than 25 years of experience. She has worked at Afyonkarahisar University of Health Sciences and Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Oral earned her medical degree from Istanbul University. She completed her specialist training in ophthalmology at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Oral has published several articles on glaucoma, cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and pediatric ophthalmology. She is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, the Strabismus Unit, and the World Society of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. She has also been a panelist and course instructor at national ophthalmology congresses. Her main interests are strabismus and pediatric eye health.
