Dr. Omer Necip Aytug is a respected gastroenterologist. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1980. He became an internist at Cukurova University in 1985. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Marmara University in 1997.

In April 2003, she started working as an assistant professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine and worked in the Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Department at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, USA, between May and November 2003. After returning to Turkey, she continued to work at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine. This clinic was the first to offer Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training in the country. During her time there, one person became a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist. On March 13, 2006, she successfully passed the exam and received the title of Associate Professor. Since December 2006, she has been working at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. In this hospital, she was appointed as the head of the Pediatric Endocrinology clinic in November 2008 and started providing Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training for the first time in the hospital in March 2009. Between 2009 and 2017, she trained five Pediatric Endocrinology specialists. Most of the physicians she currently provides subspecialty training to have gained academic titles as professors and associate professors. After working as a training instructor at Health Sciences University Zeynep Kamil Hospital for Children and Women from 2017 to 2021, she retired at her request from public service. Assoc. Prof. Elif Evrim EKIN completed her education at Ege University Faculty of Medicine between and obtained the title of Medical Doctor. In 2003 she received her Radiology specialization from Izmir Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital, and also spent a year at the Ege University Department of Radiology. After obtaining her Radiology specialization, she worked at Bozüyük State Hospital and Private Eskişehir Sakarya Hospital from 2003 to 2014. Since 2014 she has worked at Istanbul Taksim Gaziosmanpaşa Training and Research Hospital for 10 years, where she obtained the title of Associate Professor in 2019, serving as the Education Coordinator and Administrative Responsible in the Radiology Education Clinic. She has published research articles in international SCI and SCI-E journals and has numerous national and international oral presentations and journal peer reviews. In 2020, she successfully completed the ‘Fundamentals of Good Clinical Practice’ training. Her special interests are musculoskeletal radiology and breast imaging.
