Sou especialista em neurocirurgia, formado pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade Médica, e instrutor certificado em cirurgia endoscópica da coluna. Especializo-me no tratamento cirúrgico de doenças do cérebro e da coluna, bem como no tratamento intervencionista da dor. Concluí minha formação em neurocirurgia no Departamento de Neurocirurgia da Universidade Médica de Varsóvia e no Departamento de Neurocirurgia da CMKP em Varsóvia. Realizei mais de 2500 cirurgias por conta própria. Falo polonês, alemão, russo e inglês.

Tenho experiência especial na cirurgia de tumores cerebrais - gliomas e tumores da base do crânio. Também trato discopatias cervicais, torácicas e lombares usando abordagem clássica (aberta) e usando cirurgia endoscópica da coluna. Também trabalho com estabilização instrumental da coluna, inserção de discos artificiais, descompressão occipitoapical na síndrome de Chiari, assim como descompressão microvascular em conflitos vasculonervosos (neuralgia do trigêmeo, espasmo hemifacial). Meu campo de interesses também inclui cirurgias da base do crânio - cirurgias endoscópicas interdisciplinares com síndrome laringológica, hemangiomas e aneurismas cerebrais (rompidos e não rompidos, cirurgias clássicas e endovasculares - experiência única entre neurocirurgiões), hemangiomas espinhais, tratamento endoscópico de hidrocefalia e cistos espinhais. Além disso, lido com o tratamento intervencionista da dor realizando bloqueios da coluna, articulações intervertebrais, gânglios e nervos periféricos sob controle de raio-X ou ultrassom, termolesão, bem como implantação de estimuladores espinhais.

Dr. Ireneusz Babiak is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of various orthopedic conditions, including knee and hip replacements, carpal tunnel syndrome, hallux valgus, bone fractures, adhesion disorders, and more. He has postdoctoral training from the Medical University of Lodz and has professional experience in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, and Sweden. He is a lecturer and member of several scientific societies, such as the Polish Orthopedic and Traumatological Society, the European Bone and Joint Infection Society, and the Polish Association of Hospital Infections.

I am a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, a specialist neurosurgeon. I gained my professional experience in the Neurosurgery Clinic of the MSWiA Hospital in Warsaw, the Neurosurgery Clinic of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw, the Institute of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the Polish Academy of Sciences.

I perform a wide range of neurosurgical operations, including spine surgery. I am also a long-time academic lecturer, co-author of several articles and congress presentations. I have participated in numerous national and international congresses and trainings, including in the field of endoscopic spine surgery.

Dr. Mikolaj Wrobel is an orthopedic surgeon who treats knee, ankle, and foot joint conditions. He manages many types of musculoskeletal injuries, such as dislocations, fractures, and tendon or muscle damage. Dr. Wrobel performs various surgical procedures. These include arthroscopic surgeries, ligament and cartilage reconstruction, lower limb osteotomies, meniscus repairs and transplants, and revision surgeries.

He is skilled in knee joint replacement (arthroplasty) with robotic assistance. He also provides surgical care for bone infections. Dr. Wrobel uses advanced technologies in his practice, including robotics and 3D printing. He treats patients starting from age 7.

Professional education 

Dr. Filipek is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Krakow, where he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1977, in 1980 he obtained the first degree of specialization in general surgery, and in 1986 the second degree in urology. In 1999 he obtained the degree of doctor of medical sciences. 

Professional experience 

Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek serves as the Head of the Urology Department of the Independent Specialist Western Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. He created from scratch one of the most modern and best equipped urology departments in Poland. For many years, Dr. Filipek was associated with the Urology Clinic of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, where he worked as a senior assistant and lecturer. In the years 2000-2006, he was the head of the Urology Department of the St. Luke Provincial Hospital in Tarnów.

Certificates 

He participated in many scientific and advanced courses. He spent internships and scholarships in many prestigious foreign urology centers, including the Professor F. Debruyne Urology Clinic in Nijmegen. In 2014, Dr. Filipek completed training in Focal-One HIFU, with Dr. Albert Gelet, at the Hospices Civils de Lyon Edouard Herriot Hospital, in Lyon, France. In the same year, in April, the doctor also participated in the course of the European School of Urology “Focal therapy in prostate cancer” in Stockholm. 

Scientific activity

Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek is a member of the Polish Urological Society (in 1997 he was the Vice-President of the Krakow Branch of the PTU). He is also a full member of the European Urological Society. He has also been awarded many times for his scientific activity and achievements in the field of urology (winner of, among others, the 1st PTU award and the Prof. Zew Wajsman award). The scientific achievements of Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek include several dozen publications and papers presented at Polish and foreign congresses and conferences. He is the author of over 30 publications and papers published, among others, in Urologia Polska or presented at the congresses of the Polish Urological Society and the European Urological Society. He has also participated in international, multi-center clinical trials many times. Every year Dr. Filipek also participates in the meetings of the American Urological Association.

Dr Ewa Choromańska is a vascular surgeon. She graduated from the Medical University of Białystok. She completed specialist training in vascular surgery at the Department of General, Vascular and Oncological Surgery at Międzyleski Specialist Hospital. She continues to work there.

At Sienna Clinic, she performs venous surgery and laser therapy. She also conducts Doppler ultrasound examinations of veins and arteries.

She regularly develops her professional skills. She takes part in training courses, conferences, and congresses.

Dr. Daniel Ludwiczak graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw. He is a urology trainee at the Międzyleski Specialist Hospital in Warsaw. During his studies, he completed an internship in the Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Limerick in Ireland. He is a member of the Polish Urological Association (PTU) and the Section of Urology Trainees (SAU).

He treats urinary tract diseases in women and men. At Sienna Clinic, he provides urological consultations. He performs testicular and urinary ultrasound and cystoscopy. He also performs circumcision, hydrocele repair, prepuce plasty, and epididymal cyst excision.

Dr. Arkadiusz Janion graduated from the Medical Academy in Lublin, now the Medical University of Lublin. He completed specialist training in general and vascular surgery at the Department of General, Vascular and Oncological Surgery at Międzyleski Specialist Hospital. He is the Deputy Head of that department.

He performs general and vascular procedures. These include hernia repair, hemorrhoid treatment, and varicose vein surgery. He also performs Doppler ultrasound of the peripheral and carotid vessels.

He keeps his skills up to date. He takes part in national and international courses and medical symposia.
