Professional education 

Dr. Filipek is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Krakow, where he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1977, in 1980 he obtained the first degree of specialization in general surgery, and in 1986 the second degree in urology. In 1999 he obtained the degree of doctor of medical sciences. 

Professional experience 

Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek serves as the Head of the Urology Department of the Independent Specialist Western Hospital in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. He created from scratch one of the most modern and best equipped urology departments in Poland. For many years, Dr. Filipek was associated with the Urology Clinic of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, where he worked as a senior assistant and lecturer. In the years 2000-2006, he was the head of the Urology Department of the St. Luke Provincial Hospital in Tarnów.

Certificates 

He participated in many scientific and advanced courses. He spent internships and scholarships in many prestigious foreign urology centers, including the Professor F. Debruyne Urology Clinic in Nijmegen. In 2014, Dr. Filipek completed training in Focal-One HIFU, with Dr. Albert Gelet, at the Hospices Civils de Lyon Edouard Herriot Hospital, in Lyon, France. In the same year, in April, the doctor also participated in the course of the European School of Urology “Focal therapy in prostate cancer” in Stockholm. 

Scientific activity

Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek is a member of the Polish Urological Society (in 1997 he was the Vice-President of the Krakow Branch of the PTU). He is also a full member of the European Urological Society. He has also been awarded many times for his scientific activity and achievements in the field of urology (winner of, among others, the 1st PTU award and the Prof. Zew Wajsman award). The scientific achievements of Dr. n. med. Marek Filipek include several dozen publications and papers presented at Polish and foreign congresses and conferences. He is the author of over 30 publications and papers published, among others, in Urologia Polska or presented at the congresses of the Polish Urological Society and the European Urological Society. He has also participated in international, multi-center clinical trials many times. Every year Dr. Filipek also participates in the meetings of the American Urological Association.

Dr. Oliwia Ziaja builds her skills in aesthetic medicine through ongoing training and workshops. She follows current standards and proven methods. Her practice focuses on natural results and safety. Each treatment is tailored so patients feel confident, comfortable, and look harmonious.

At the clinic, Dr. Ziaja also performs hair transplants. This work requires precision and patience. She provides thorough care before and after the procedure. The aim is to help patients regain thicker hair, self-confidence, and a natural look.

Dr. Michał Barwijuk is a graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. He spent nearly a decade at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Oncological Gynecology at the Hospital of the Ministry of Interior and Administration in Warsaw (now the National Institute of Medicine). He provides care and performs advanced procedures in plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive gynecology.

He is a respected trainer and lecturer. Over the past ten years, he has trained more than 500 specialists. He completed a leading program at the Institute of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Gynecology in Florida, USA. He co-authored “Plastic Gynecology – Surgery of the Female Intimate Organs” and “Minimally Invasive Techniques in Plastic Gynecology” (PZWL, 2018). His research advances plastic and aesthetic gynecology and brings new technologies into practice. He is expanding this work through the Barwijuk Clinics Clinical Research Center.

Graduate of the Medical University of Lublin. Completed postgraduate studies in aesthetic medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw and GWSH Katowice. Practicing aesthetic medicine since 2007.

Active member of ICATA. Also a member of the Aesthetic Medicine Section of the Polish Medical Association (SME PTL), the Polish Association of Anti-Aging Medicine (PSAAM), and the Polish Society of Aesthetic Medicine Physicians (POLME).

Emilia Karchier, MD, PhD, is an ENT surgeon with over 20 years of clinical and surgical experience at Krajmed Medical Center in Warsaw. She graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw in 2005. She became an otorhinolaryngology specialist in 2013. She earned a PhD in 2015 for research on endoscopy in chronic middle ear surgery. From 2006 to 2018, she worked at the Medical University of Warsaw Department of Otolaryngology as a resident and assistant professor. She is a member of the Polish Society of Otorhinolaryngologists–Head and Neck Surgeons. She has published many papers and contributed to two textbooks.

Expertise includes functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS); nasal surgery such as septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and functional correction; submandibular and parotid surgery; surgery for snoring and obstructive sleep apnea, including soft-palate plasty; pediatric ENT care, including tonsil and adenoid surgery, ear tubes, and tongue- or lip-tie release; endoscopic diagnostics, tympanometry, and outpatient procedures such as nasal bone repositioning, earlobe reconstruction, and laryngeal polyp removal.

Magdalena Hamera, MD, PhD, is an otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon with over 25 years of experience. She provides adult and pediatric ENT care at Krajmed Medical Center in Warsaw. She earned her PhD in 2007 and became board-certified in otolaryngology in 2009.

She graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw, where she also completed her residency. Since 1999, she has been active in research and teaching in pharmacology and otolaryngology at that university. She has authored and co-authored many ENT papers and takes part in major symposia and conferences.

She holds certifications in RFITT/Celon laryngology, aesthetic and reconstructive ear surgery, and core middle-ear techniques. She performs minimally invasive tissue reduction for snoring and nasal obstruction, otoplasty, pediatric tonsil and adenoid surgery, ear surgery, and diagnostic endoscopy.

Dr. Michał Goławski is a General Surgery trainee and a specialist in aesthetic medicine and body contouring. He graduated from Jagiellonian University Medical College. He completed postgraduate studies in Aesthetic Medicine at the Silesian Medical University in Katowice. He combines clinical surgery with modern aesthetic methods.

He develops his skills through national and international training and major congresses, including IMCAS Paris. He refined advanced abdominoplasty under leading Polish specialists.

His work focuses on abdominoplasty, often with Body‑Jet liposuction, diastasis recti correction, hernia repair, body contouring, and treatments with hyaluronic acid fillers and botulinum toxin. He prioritizes safety and aims for natural, personalized results.

Dr. Rafał Marszałek is a general, oncologic, and bariatric surgeon. He specializes in minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques. He leads the General Surgery Department at the Hospital in Legionowo, affiliated with the Military Medical Institute. He has many years of clinical experience from leading centers in Warsaw and the region.

As department head, he applies current treatment standards and advances modern surgical practice. The unit performs a high volume of procedures each year and provides full perioperative care. His key focus is bariatric surgery. He manages patient qualification, selects tailored laparoscopic methods, and provides postoperative monitoring. The goal is durable weight loss and reduced obesity‑related risk. His work also includes hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, breast surgery, and oncologic procedures.

Dr n. med. Marcin Wiśniewski is a maxillofacial surgeon focused on orthognathic surgery and facial implantology. He treats complex malocclusions and performs advanced maxillary and mandibular procedures at Promedion Clinic. His scope includes wisdom tooth extractions under general anesthesia and mandibular angle augmentation with implants. He also diagnoses and treats sleep apnea.

He holds multiple certifications in orthognathic surgery and implantology. He conducts training courses and workshops. He launched the BSSO project to bring together expertise in interdisciplinary orthodontic-surgical care.

He is an active member of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He also belongs to the Polish Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. Marcin Nowak is a plastic and hand surgeon. He graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw. He completed his plastic surgery training in 2010 at Orłowski Hospital in Warsaw. He then worked for eight years as an assistant there and at the Postgraduate Medical Education Center under Prof. Józef Jethon.

He performs breast augmentation, breast lifts, breast reductions, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty, and facelifts. He has extensive experience in surgical treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. He has completed many courses in Europe and the United States. He is active at national and international congresses and has authored publications in plastic and general surgery.

Dr. Marcin Sobotka is a dentist and oral surgeon. He graduated in Dentistry (2005) and in Military Medicine. He completed his specialization in dental surgery in 2011–2016. Since 2016, he has worked in radiology and diagnostic imaging at the Military Institute of Aviation Medicine in Warsaw. His work includes CBCT and CT of the paranasal sinuses. He has over 15 years of experience in implantology. He trained with Prof. Simunk in implantology and maxillary sinus surgery. He also trained at Prof. Hurzeler’s clinic in implantology and periodontology.

He is a member of Polish implantology and surgical societies. His practice covers implants, extractions, sinus lift, bone augmentation, DSD digital planning, implant-prosthetics for advanced bone loss, gingivectomy, aesthetic periodontal microsurgery, and bridges and dentures on implants (all-on-X). He focuses on imaging-guided, minimally invasive, well-planned care.
