Dr. Yavuz Yalcin is a specialist in endocrinology and metabolic diseases at Memorial Sisli Hospital in Istanbul, where he has worked since 2014. He has contributed to cancer care through research, especially with his study on the best timing for surgery after neoadjuvant therapy in rectal cancer. This work has influenced global treatment protocols.

Dr. Sağlam has led clinical trials in targeted therapies and precision medicine. Reconhecido por suas contribuições para a pesquisa de transplante de medula óssea na Europa, o médico se especializa em operações complexas relacionadas a este campo.<\/p>

Com filiações em várias organizações de prestígio, como a Sociedade de Câncer Infantil, a Associação Europeia para Transplante de Medula Óssea e a Sociedade Turca e Americana de Hematologia, o médico estabeleceu uma presença significativa na comunidade médica.<\/p>

Alcançando o título de professor em 1996, o médico completou treinamento especializado em saúde e doenças infantis na Faculdade de Medicina de Tsukurov, após obter um diploma médico da Universidade de Istambul.<\/p>

O médico é um neurocirurgião renomado com mais de 31 anos de experiência. Especializando-se no tratamento de gliomas, epilepsia, distúrbios do movimento, lesões cranianas, distúrbios nervosos, tumores da coluna, hérnias e outros problemas do cérebro e da coluna, o médico fez contribuições significativas para o campo.<\/p>

Com 117 artigos científicos publicados, o médico também é coautor do livro 'Advances and Technical Standards in Neurosurgery', refletindo um profundo compromisso com o avanço do conhecimento e da prática neurocirúrgica.<\/p>

O médico formou-se na Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Ancara e completou a residência em medicina interna na Faculdade de Medicina de Ancara GATA. Especializando-se em oncologia médica e hematologia, o médico completou uma bolsa clínica nos EUA. Pioneiro na Turquia, o médico fez parte da equipe que realizou o primeiro transplante de medula óssea no país. O médico atuou como professor visitante em instituições de prestígio em Londres e Suíça. Detentor do Certificado Europeu de Oncologia Médica, o médico é membro fundador tanto da Sociedade Turca de Oncologia Médica quanto do Grupo Oncológico Turco.
