Ver a simulação por computador do resultado esperado durante a consulta foi um momento decisivo. O cirurgião foi direto e honesto sobre o que era realista, e apreciei o facto de ele ter tratado pessoalmente tanto da consulta como da cirurgia de rinoplastia aberta para a remodelação completa do meu nariz. Tem sido fácil contactar a equipa da clínica e o seu guia de cuidados pós-operatórios é claro. Ainda estou em fase de recuperação. Estejam preparados para despesas adicionais, como viagens de Uber, hotel, medicamentos pós-operatórios recomendados e muitos materiais, como gaze, fita adesiva e spray para a boca seca. O meu conselho para outras pessoas é que tragam um acompanhante; os primeiros 3 dias são muito difíceis e vão precisar de ajuda. Além disso, certifiquem-se de que coordenam as vossas datas de chegada e partida para não partirem antes de todos os cuidados pós-operatórios estarem concluídos.
Todo o processo foi muito organizado, eficiente e abrangente em todos os pormenores necessários. As respostas às comunicações são rápidas. As perguntas são respondidas com pormenores e muita informação de apoio. A coordenação entre TODOS os diferentes departamentos é fantástica. A clínica está impecável. O médico é extremamente profissional e experiente, e demonstra empatia e confiança. Excelência em todos os aspetos. E a clínica fica numa localização muito boa. Todos fazem com que nos sintamos importantes e querem garantir que nos sentimos felizes e satisfeitos ao longo de todo o processo.
A única coisa é comunicar melhor os cuidados pós-operatórios durante a fase inicial. É importante não marcar um voo de regresso a casa demasiado cedo após a cirurgia. E que a data de partida é coordenada de acordo com o tipo de cirurgia. Além disso, um kit de «cuidados» que inclua um bálsamo labial emoliente e um spray para a boca seca, bem como as gazes e a fita adesiva necessárias para a rinoplastia. Ter estes artigos ajudaria muuuuito na recuperação. A minha filha teve de ir comprar estes produtos separadamente e eu passei mal na primeira noite até ela conseguir comprá-los para mim. Fora isso —- tudo o resto foi simplesmente ótimo

A minha maior preocupação era saber como as linhas de incisão iriam cicatrizar e qual seria o resultado final. Ainda estou numa fase inicial, mas sinto-me tão aliviada e grata. A equipa conseguiu um lifting realmente bom e os meus mamilos já estão numa boa posição. A cicatrização em si está a progredir — há algumas crostas ao longo das linhas de incisão em forma de pirulito, o que é de esperar. Sinceramente, o maior desafio, de longe, tem sido dormir sentada. É difícil. Mas o apoio do cirurgião e da equipa fez toda a diferença. Sinto que tomei a decisão certa ao vir para cá.
O pessoal é realmente atencioso com as nossas necessidades. E agora que estou em casa, continuam a ser muito prestáveis e preocupados com a minha recuperação.
