I am extremely grateful to Prof. Dr. Cătălin Badiu and the entire NORD medical team for the care I received during one of the most important and difficult periods of my life. I underwent aortic valve surgery with Prof. Badiu, and one of the main reasons I chose him was his extensive experience with minimally invasive valve surgery and ministernotomy. Even though this was major cardiac surgery, the incision is remarkably small and, only one month later, already looks very discreet. From the beginning, I felt I was in the hands of a surgeon with exceptional experience, judgment, and technical skill. He made a genuine attempt to repair my native bicuspid aortic valve, and when the result was not satisfactory, he chose replacement rather than accepting a compromise. I now have a well-functioning biological valve and preserved heart function. My postoperative course was more complicated than expected and required a second intervention for postoperative bleeding, followed by close monitoring and treatment. Throughout everything, Prof. Badiu remained calm, involved, accessible, and focused on getting me safely through the complications and back on the path to recovery. I never felt like just another patient. I am equally grateful to Dr. Ioana Băjenaru and Dr. Oana Ioniță, who monitored me closely during my hospitalization. Both were extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, and empathetic. They explained what was happening, answered my questions, and always made me feel that my concerns were taken seriously. A special thank-you also goes to Dr. Adina Spătaru from ATI. What impressed me was that her care did not stop when I left intensive care. She came to see me afterward simply to check how I was recovering, and her interest felt genuinely personal. That meant a great deal to me. I am also very grateful to Dr. Andreea Vlădău from Pneumology, who carefully explained the lung trauma and complications I developed, monitored my respiratory recovery, and made sure that my lung was progressing in the right direction. Her explanations and reassurance helped me greatly during a stressful period. Finally, I want to thank the entire nursing team. Their professionalism, patience, warmth, and attention to detail never went unnoticed. They cared for me day and night, including during the moments when I was uncomfortable, exhausted, worried, and vulnerable, and they consistently treated me with kindness and respect. Excellent surgery is only one part of a successful recovery. The monitoring, communication, compassion, and dedication that follow are just as important. I feel very fortunate to have been cared for by this team. Thank you, Prof. Badiu, Dr. Băjenaru, Dr. Ioniță, Dr. Spătaru, Dr. Vlădău, and all the nurses who looked after me. I will remember your professionalism, kindness, and humanity for a very long time.

Those blaming this clinic are discontent for insignificant issues like they waited 1/4 hours at the doctor’s door or other similar. I had a sophisticated blood vessel surgery and all the procedure plus imagistic and other investigations have been packed within the first day. I was released for home after two more days. Doctors and support staff have been excellent. Day and night.

In December 2025 for a planned consultation i attended the hospital, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. As a first-time patient, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the polite, professional staff who ensure you feel comfortable. The waiting areas are well-equipped with plenty of seating. I saw Dr. Dan Ioan Ulmeanu, who is truly one of the best in his field. He listened attentively, reviewed my medical history thoroughly, and explained every detail of the upcoming procedure. His expertise gave me the confidence to trust him fully. What stood out was the efficiency of the hospital. While I expected pre-op examinations to take weeks, the staff managed to complete everything on the same day as my initial visit—a massive relief since I was traveling from Constanța. On the day of the surgery, the preparation process was smooth and supportive. The surgery itself was complex and lasted four hours but Dr. Ulmeanu and his team handled it with incredible skill and success. The post-operative recovery was equally impressive. The recovery cabin was pristine, and the nursing staff provided a level of empathy and care that made a difficult decision time very pleasurable. I highly recommend Dr. Ulmeanu for anyone seeking a highly skilled and trustworthy thoracic surgeon

Cojocaru Mădălina, a so called "doctor", threw a fit, shouting at reception as to why there was an appointment for my partner, who was about to faint. While we were waiting for the doctor to see my sick partner for hours, the "doctor" decided that she had better things to do, and do you know what she did? She left the hospital!!!! A doctor, who had a patient waiting, a patient who was about to faint, LEFT THE HOSPITAL!

My Experience at Nord Clinic: A Serious Warning I can confidently say that my experience at Nord Clinic was the worst I have ever had in any country. This clinic operates as a pure money-making machine: once they have your payment, their commitment to patient care disappears. Here are the facts: 1. Back Treatment I sought help for both my back and my hand. Regarding my back, I was seen by young, inexperienced doctors who conducted expensive tests that ultimately failed. The results were inconclusive, and I was left with no clear diagnosis or treatment plan, apart from a recommendation for a prolonged therapy regimen. Given the high cost and the clinic’s poor patient management, I decided not to proceed. I was left feeling completely lost about my next steps. 2. Hand Surgery I decided to undergo hand surgery based on the doctor’s advice. On the day of the surgery, I arrived on time, completed the paperwork, and waited in the pre-surgery room. Despite being ready, I waited for three hours for the doctor to arrive, with even the nurses visibly embarrassed by the situation. After the surgery, I was placed in a room and completely forgotten about. I waited for two hours before asking what I should do. Only then did someone realize my adrenaline levels were dangerously high. After hastily obtaining my signature, I was discharged with a single prescription and instructions to return in 10 days for stitch removal. 3. Stitch Removal Fiasco Ten days later, when I returned to the clinic, they seemed surprised to see me. They informed me that the doctor was in another hospital and couldn’t remove my stitches. I was sent to Baldasar Hospital, driving 1.5 hours, only to be told that the doctor was busy in surgery and I would have to come back another day. After significant complaints, a nurse finally removed my stitches. It took two months before I was seen by the doctor again, during which I learned he also worked at Regina Maria. At this point, my fingers remained paralyzed, and I was left with no improvement despite spending €2,000 and wasting an incredible amount of time. My Advice Do not trust this clinic. Their lack of professionalism, disorganization, and disregard for patient care have caused me financial loss, physical suffering, and emotional distress. I am now considering legal action to seek justice. For anyone considering treatment here, please look elsewhere to avoid the nightmare I experienced.
