Accreditations and Professional Recognition
Vickong Dental holds the Medical Quality A-level Unit certificate from the Luohu District Health Bureau. The clinic also maintains provincial-level A-level status for infection prevention. These certifications verify strict sterilization and safety standards.
The clinic has received multiple industry honors:
- Hong Kong Enterprise Leaders Brand award
- Greater Bay Area Popular Dental Brand recognition
- Official appointment as a Nobel and Ankylos implant center
- Quality Brand award for the Futian Port area
Staff follow a rigorous disinfection workflow for every patient. Instruments are individually packaged and sterilized under high temperatures. Rooms undergo complete re-disinfection after each appointment.
Dental Implantology and Oral Surgery
The implant department restores single or multiple missing teeth. Surgeons offer immediate loading and same-day implant placement. This means patients can receive temporary teeth during their first visit. All implant procedures take place in a dedicated sterile surgical environment.
Specialists use several recognized international implant systems:
- Nobel Biocare
- Straumann (ITI)
- Ankylos
- Osstem and Dentium
Dr. Liao Zhanpeng leads complex cases with multiple global certifications. He holds specialized training in sinus lift and GBR techniques. Dr. Li Dongying focuses on full-arch reconstructions using Nobel and Ankylos systems.
Orthodontics and Aesthetic Restoration
The orthodontics department treats bite issues using several appliance types. Adult treatment typically lasts 18 to 24 months. Options include traditional metal braces, Invisalign clear aligners, and lingual braces fixed to the back of teeth.
Aesthetic services focus on smile design and long-term tooth preservation. Doctors use Digital Smile Design (DSD) to plan veneer and crown placements. Patients can see projected results before treatment begins. Restorations include full ceramic crowns and aesthetic resin bonding.
The clinic also manages advanced periodontal care for gum disease. Specialists offer Swiss EMS periodontal treatment for all severity levels. These treatments are organized into three-visit courses for deep cleaning. Pediatric dentists provide preventive care, including fissure sealants and cavity fillings.
Diagnostic and Treatment Technology
Precise treatment planning relies on 4-in-1 digital CT imaging. This equipment shows bone structure and nerve locations in detail. Doctors use intraoral scanners to create digital impressions without traditional molds, which increases accuracy for braces and crowns.
Available diagnostic tools include:
- Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT)
- Panoramic OPG X-ray
- DIAGNOcam for early cavity detection
- CEREC Omnicam for digital diagnostic models
Specialists use these tools for painless root canal treatments. Targeted periapical X-rays help identify infections at the tooth root. Digital platforms ensure implants and restorations fit each patient's unique anatomy.
International Patient Support
The clinic provides full support for patients traveling from abroad. Multilingual coordinators offer consultations in English, Japanese, Thai, and Korean. They also speak Cantonese and Mandarin for regional visitors. Initial consultations, including CT scans and X-rays, are free.
Staff assist with cross-border logistics and visa-related guidance. Patients can book appointments and receive treatment plans through online channels. The clinic coordinates follow-up care and provides aftercare instructions in the patient's language.
