Assoc. Dr. Kanay Yararbaş is a medical geneticist with 20 years of experience. He founded Sapiens Genetics and Health Services Inc. He is also the director of the company. Dr. Yararbaş is the Head of the Medical Genetics Department at Demiroğlu Bilim University Faculty of Medicine.

He holds the Clinical Laboratory Genetics Board certificate from the European Society of Human Genetics, which he received in 2018. He became an Associate Professor in 2019. Dr. Yararbaş is known for his work in genetics education and research.

Dr. Ergun Tozkoparan is a pulmonologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating lung diseases. He has a special focus on tuberculosis. He received his medical degree from GATA Military Medical School in 1989. He completed his pulmonology training at GATA, Ankara in 1996.

Dr. Tozkoparan has worked in leading hospitals in Turkey. He also served as a professor at the GATA Department of Pulmonology. He gained further experience in interventional pulmonology during a year at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center.

In 2007, Dr. Tozkoparan published research in CCLM. He showed important changes in platelet indices in patients with tuberculosis. This work helped improve how the disease is monitored and managed.

Nihal Özaras graduated from IU Cerrahpaşa English Faculty of Medicine in 1998 and completed her specialty training at Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital (now Bezmialem University). She completed her master's degree in Neuroscience between 2006 and 2009 because she thought it would contribute to her professional practice. She traveled to the USA in 2008 to improve her clinical skills and worked as an observer physician at Harvard University Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston for 3 months. Although she is mostly interested in neurological and pediatric rehabilitation, she is experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of all musculoskeletal disorders, botulinum toxin applications for spasticity and other local injections.

He graduated from Ankara Başkent High School in 1992 and Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. She completed her specialty training at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and became a psychiatry specialist in 2005.

She has received Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Group Supervision training; Level I and II Family Therapies Training; Cognitive Psychotherapy Training; Family and Relationship Therapies Training and has articles published in local and foreign journals. He entered Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and started his compulsory service in Akçaabat district of Trabzon in 1993. In January 1995, he was admitted to the Hepato-Biliary Surgery service of the Universite Libre Bruxelles Erasmus Hospital in Brussels, Belgium. He started his General Surgery residency in October 1996 and became a General Surgery Specialist in Belgium in 2002 with the thesis "Le Re-do Gastroplastie dans le traitement des complications des Procedure Bariatriques pour Obesité Morbide" (Revision Surgery in the Treatment of Complications of Bariatric Procedures for Morbid Obesity).

He worked in the Hepatobiliary Surgery service of ULB Erasmus Hospital until October 2003, and then in October 2003 he joined Providence Hospital in Neuchatel, Switzerland as Deputy Chief of Surgery Clinic. In March 2004, he was appointed as Chief of Surgery Clinic at Neuchatel Hospital Cadolles Pourtales NHP and played an important role in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Oncologic Surgery, Traumatology, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery and resident training.

He started his career in the private sector by obtaining equivalency in the field of General Surgery at Çukurova University. He is currently serving as a General Surgery Specialist at NPISTANBUL Hospital.

Dr. Ceylan Ergül continues to work as an associate professor at Üsküdar University Department of Mental Health and Diseases and continues her research in the fields of addiction and psychosis.

Dr. Zeynep Alkin is a Professor of Ophthalmology. She specializes in medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery. She earned her medical degree at Istanbul University. She completed her residency at Beyoglu Eye Training and Research Hospital. Dr. Alkin later served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Fellow in retina departments. She also completed a research fellowship at Doheny Eye Institute, USC. She is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmological Society and its Medical and Surgical Retina Boards.

Dr. Alkin has given over 40 presentations at national and international meetings. She has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications. Her main interests are retinal diseases, diabetic macular edema, and age-related macular degeneration. Her research includes multicenter studies and real-world data analyses. Dr. Alkin’s work supports evidence-based practice in ophthalmology.
