Dr. Michel Gallego is a private single-doctor plastic surgery practice founded in 2024. The clinic is located in Medellín, Colombia, and operates within the Quirófanos El Tesoro surgical center. Dr. Michel Gallego specializes in aesthetic body contouring and breast surgery for both local and international patients.
Dr. Michel Gallego is an active member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He also holds membership in the Sociedad Colombiana de Cirugía Plástica y Reconstructiva. These affiliations reflect adherence to established safety and quality protocols in cosmetic procedures.
The practice focuses on high-definition body sculpting using several specialized techniques. LIPOÉLITE 360 targets localized fat in the abdomen, waist, and back to create a natural contour. This is often combined with abdominal marking to highlight underlying muscle definition.
The clinic provides several specialized procedures for the waist and gluteal region:
Most liposculpture and gluteal fat transfer procedures are outpatient. These surgeries typically last about 4 hours. Ultrasound-assisted technology improves fat removal precision and supports smoother recovery.
Breast surgery plans are tailored to balance with the patient's overall body proportions. The clinic performs breast augmentation with implants to increase volume and improve shape. For patients needing a lift, mastopexy options include the T-inverted technique with implants to address significant sagging.
The clinic uses specific technology platforms to enhance surgical precision and skin tightening. Intraoperative radiofrequency heats internal tissue to stimulate skin contraction. Piezotomo, an ultrasonic instrument, reshapes bone during RibXcar costal remodeling with minimal impact on surrounding soft tissue. Ultrasound devices emulsify fat before removal during liposuction.
The clinic provides structured postoperative planning for patients traveling from outside Medellín. International patients are advised to stay in the city for a specific period. This allows the surgeon to monitor early healing and manage safety before the patient returns home.
Recovery support includes a complete care regimen:
Virtual assessments help patients begin treatment planning before traveling. After returning home, the clinic continues to provide medical checkups and guidance to monitor long-term results.
