Professor Raanan Berger, MD PhD, is a medical oncologist and radiotherapist. He is Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center and heads its clinical research unit. He leads a high-volume program for complex, high-risk blood cancers. He performs allogeneic and autologous transplants. He also provides CAR T-cell therapy for leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. He completed a bone marrow transplantation fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

He is Chairman of Hematology at Tel Aviv University and a Professor of Hematology. He has authored more than 250 scientific papers. His research focuses on CAR T-cell therapy and stem cell transplantation. He is often listed among Israel's Best Doctors (Forbes 2025 and 2026).

Dr. Cagdas Erdogan is a gastroenterologist at Ankara Etlik City Hospital. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He earned his MD from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from 2014 to 2019. He then completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at Ankara City Hospital from 2019 to 2022. Dr. Ulvi Samadzade is a neurologist with training from Azerbaijan State Medical University, Gazi University, and Dokuz Eylul University Hospital. He diagnoses and treats neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, movement disorders, stroke, migraine, and multiple sclerosis.

Dr. Yaacov Lawrence, MA, MBBS, MRCP, is Chair of Radiation Oncology at Sheba Medical Center. He has nearly 30 years of experience in precision radiation oncology and neuro-oncology.

He is an expert in advanced radiation therapy and radiosurgery. He performs stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors. He leads Sheba’s GI Cancer Program in gastrointestinal oncology. He also provides precision care for lung and prostate cancers. He pioneered celiac plexus radiosurgery for severe pain from pancreatic cancer.

Training and credentials: MA and MBBS (Cambridge and UCLH); MRCP (RCP); Radiation Oncology fellowship (Thomas Jefferson University). Honors include the ASCO Young Investigator Award and Fellow of ASTRO (FASTRO). He has authored over 280 publications. He is Director of the Center for Translational Radiation Oncology and an Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Eytan Aharon Ben‑Ami, MD, is a Senior Physician in the Sarcoma and Bone Oncology Service at Sheba Medical Center. He heads the Oncology Division and the Early-Phase Clinical Trials Unit. He founded the Sheba Clinical Research Organization. He is an academic affiliate at Tel Aviv University.

He specializes in sarcomas and primary bone tumors, including soft tissue sarcoma, liposarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, and osteosarcoma. He leads Phase I trials in targeted therapy and immunotherapy. He designs personalized treatment plans for rare cancers. He also develops patient-centered programs, including pilots in advanced immunotherapy delivery.

He completed a fellowship in Sarcoma and Bone Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Cancer Center. He has authored more than 40 publications on early detection, molecular and viral mechanisms, and new cancer therapies.

Dr. Iris Kventsel, MD, is a pediatric hemato-oncologist and bone marrow transplant (BMT) specialist at Sheba Medical Center. She is an attending physician in the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology and BMT Division at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital. Her clinical focus is pediatric sarcomas, including Ewing sarcoma, osteosarcoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma.

She provides multidisciplinary care, including transplant and cellular therapies. She also uses current chemotherapy protocols and targeted therapies for complex childhood cancers.

Her research focuses on genetic cancer predisposition, including Li-Fraumeni syndrome, and cancer susceptibility genes. She has published in pediatric oncology, stem cell biology, and surgical oncology (HIPEC). She is on the academic staff at Tel Aviv University. Dr. David (Dudi) Mishali, MD, is Director of Pediatric and Congenital Cardiothoracic Surgery at Sheba Medical Center. He treats infants and children with congenital heart defects. His work includes rare, high-risk anomalies and complex newborn reconstructions.

He trained internationally. He completed his residency at Rabin Medical Center and clinical fellowships in cardiac surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and in congenital pediatric cardiothoracic surgery at UCSF. He is board certified in cardiothoracic surgery. He developed and implemented minimally invasive methods that reduce surgical trauma and improve cosmetic results.

He is a Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler Faculty of Medicine. He has written many peer-reviewed papers and book chapters, including on point-of-care testing in children during cardiopulmonary bypass and on accessory mitral valve tissue. He performs advanced surgeries on the knee, hip, ankle, elbow, hand, and shoulder. His skills also include prosthesis replacements, limb lengthening, tendon transfers, and trauma surgery.

He received additional training in France in knee, hip, and sports injuries. He also trained in minimally invasive hip surgery. Dr. Kececi has worked at Ege University and İzmir Private Hospital. He currently practices at Medical Point İzmir Hospital. He is a member of national and international orthopedic and oncology societies, including ISOLS, SICOT, and EMSOS. He has also served on the board of TOTBİD.
