Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Sinangil is a nephrologist with expertise in kidney failure. She has authored 30 international publications. She has also presented at 19 international scientific meetings.

Dr. Sinangil graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. She completed her specialization at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in 2004. In 2012, she finished a minor specialization at Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Nephrology, ERA, and EDTA. Dr. Sinangil is dedicated to ongoing professional development in nephrology.

Dr. Pazit Beckerman is a nephrologist with over 24 years of clinical practice in Israel. She specializes in chronic kidney disease (CKD), acute kidney injury (AKI), hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, hypertension-related kidney disease, glomerular diseases and proteinuria, electrolyte disorders, and kidney involvement in systemic diseases.

She served as Acting Director in 2020, Deputy Director from 2018 to 2020, and Senior Physician in the Department of Nephrology at Sheba Medical Center. She also heads the Israeli Dialysis Registry.

Professor Fan Yu is Chief Physician and Director of Kidney Transplantation. His center ranked first in Fujian for three straight years in liver and kidney transplants. His team performed 112 kidney transplants and one combined liver-kidney transplant over two years.

He specializes in kidney transplantation, post-transplant complications, and immunosuppressive management. He developed a system to improve long-term graft and patient survival.

He pioneered the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and subclinical rejection. He has led more than 10 grants as principal investigator and published over 30 SCI-indexed papers. He is Vice Chairman of the Transplant Surgeon Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Organ Transplant Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association. He is Editor-in-Chief of Chinese Kidney Friends and serves on the editorial boards of over 20 journals, including the Chinese edition of Transplantation.

With a Degree in Medicine and Surgery obtained at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, he completed his studies in Nephrology as a Resident Doctor at the Clínico Universitario

San Carlos Hospital in Madrid where he completed his studies with Doctorate courses in Endocrinology.

Throughout his trajectory, Dr Marañés has carried out extensive work relating to his subject of interest, i.e., renal diseases associated to diabetic patients, and has taken part in the pancreatic islets transplant programme of patients with renal transplants. He is the author of numerous national and international medical-scientific publications.

The Nephrology and Hypertension Unit deals with non-surgical kidney diseases and with blood pressure. Dr. Ercan Ozden is a specialist in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He later received a subspecialty in medical oncology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 2016 to 2020.

Dr. Ozden has worked in medical oncology at Şırnak State Hospital. He has also served as an internal medicine specialist at Bağcılar Private Safa Hospital and Küçükçekmece Batı Bahat Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience in both internal medicine and oncology.

Assoc. Prof. Ayşe İrem Yasin, M.D., is a medical oncologist who specializes in solid tumors. Her clinical focus includes breast, lung, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and urologic cancers. She also treats brain and other CNS tumors, soft tissue sarcomas, head and neck cancers, adenocarcinomas, melanoma, Merkel cell carcinoma, and cancers of unknown primary. Assoc. Prof. Atakan Topçu, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Medipol University and Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital. He treats solid tumors, including lung, breast, colorectal, gastric, and neuroendocrine cancers. His work also covers targeted therapies, immunotherapy, geriatric oncology, and cancer-related malnutrition, cachexia, and sarcopenia.

He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Recent work includes a 2024 Frontiers in Medicine study on geriatric syndromes and a 2023 Future Oncology paper on sarcopenia and anxiety in lung cancer. He has also published on the CONUT score in breast cancer and on malnutrition in HER2-negative metastatic gastric cancer.

Professor Jair Bar, MD, PhD, is a thoracic oncologist and Deputy Director of the Cancer Center at Sheba Medical Center. He leads the Thoracic Oncology Unit. He treats lung cancer, including advanced non-small cell cases. His care includes medical oncology, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy.

He runs a translational research lab focused on resistance to immunotherapy. He has published on exhaled-breath cancer metabolism and on angiogenesis inhibition in lung cancer.

He has chaired the Israel Lung Cancer Group since 2003. He is a member of the Israel Society of Clinical Oncology and Radiotherapy, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Association for Cancer Research. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Radiotherapy Oncology. He is a Senior Lecturer at Tel Aviv University.

Dr. Nir Kleinmann, MD, directs the Endourology and Kidney Stones Unit at Sheba Medical Center. He is an expert in minimally invasive urology and urologic oncology. His focus is the kidney and upper urinary tract. He was named among Israel’s Best Doctors for 2025–2026 by Forbes and ResultMed.

He is a pioneer of kidney‑sparing laser surgery. He uses a dual‑laser system with neodymium and holmium for complex tumors. His expertise includes UTUC, kidney and prostate cancer, kidney stones, and BPH.
